"This lamp is perfect for what I need. The height is adjustable which enables me to raise it up and over the back of my computer screen which goes 20 inches above my desktop. The arm of the light is about 4 inches above the top of the screen. The on/off switch does hang down a bit but it clears the top of the monitor by an inch and a half. It lights up my keyboard perfectly and doesn't protrude over the top of my desk and bump me in the head. The adjustable height was key for me. There weren't many lamps out there that were tall enough. It also came with an energy saving lightbulb which was a bonus!"

"I've been trying to return this item but the MFR so far hasn't sent me their authorization to return it. The box came ripped in the middle, then a portion of the pipe at the top exposes the white interior cable - very tacky & cheapen the look."
