"An oval area rug in a very classic and traditional design. The green is very dark with enough beige and brown for balance. I could have done without the bows in the design, but wanted a dark green area rug enough to overcome the somewhat stodgy design."

"I usually do not share reviews, but I would hate for anyone to make the mistake I did buying this rug. This rug is a total mess. It sheds...a lot. I was hoping this was just from it being new. I don't think it is. The rug sees very little traffic and yet I find black dust balls of fiber ALL over my house. I have to vacuum the rug at least once a day. The shedding is so horrible I have to empty my vacuum chamber each and every time I vacuum the rug. It completely fills the chamber with fibers. I don't know if I want to deal with the hassle of shipping it back. Don't buy this rug."

"I ordered the black/gold rug which was dull looking compared to the color online. Beige/Brown instead of gold; which I can live. But the shedding was a big disappointment. This rug sheds a lot and is very difficult to vacuum. If I had known this, if I had known this I would not have bought it"

"I agonized for weeks whether or not to make this purchase. And now, I am so glad I did. It's a beautiful rug, well made, fits the area perfectly and is a stately addition to my dining room. My dining table is glass so the beauty of the rug shows through and with the black background, it really sets a tone in the room. I am having to vacuum about every two or three days due to shedding, but that is to be expected with any new carpet. I purchased the best pad for this rug and am also happy with that decision. I want this rug to last a long time. My purchases were delivered within five days right to my front door."

"The rug looked beautiful online, my husband ordered the smallest size to go in to the powder room. The rug did not have near the detail of the rug that was pictured online. It was much simplier and did not look as nice. I called customer service and they said the smaller rugs do not have the same design as the larger ones, however when you select a size rug to look at online the same picture shows for all sizes. I wish I had seen what the actual rug looked like before I bought it, I was very disappointed."

"I like that the color is more beige than gold. Was afraid it would be too gold. It sure is shedding though. I guess that comes with a wool rug. Have to vacuum every 2 days. Overall really like it."

"I purchased the Windsor rug in black. When it arrived, the colors in the rug were visibly different from both the catalog and online pictures. The rug was beautiful, but color-wise I was unhappy. The customer service reps at Home Decorator could not have been more helpful and accomodating. I have bought several items before from HDC and will continue to do so. This one rug has been my only disappointing purchase, and that was only due to color differences. The Trans Cassia Mirror is just beautiful and exactly as pictured."

"I had ordered a wool area rug from Home Decorators before, so I knew that their product is reliable I was not disappointed! I love my new area rug. Color is great, and the photo on the website was accurate. I only wish that I could have arranged a day for shipment. The rug was delivered when I was not home."

"Field color was pretty good but gold accents in catalogue were not in this rug at all. I would have prefered the gold instead of the taupy brown it has. Also, the plastic covering arrived ripped in 2 places which also resulted in (2) small rips in the backing. Sending it back (9 x 12) after opening it was problematic so I repaired the 2 small rips myself with a curved needle. If you really want the gold highlights shown in the on-line image you will be disappointed."

"While the decorative coloring on the sage rug was more beige-y brown than gold as pictured, the overall coloration combo --complimented by the slight sculpting -- gives the rug a sophisticated look. I ordered the small size as a "sample" to see if I would like the "look" enough to order a 9x12--and I did indeed like it enough to order a 9x12, two 9.5x2 runners and a 3x5 area rug! So, yes, I don't think you can beat this wool/quality/cost rug selection."
