"I have purchased ten of these, four in cherry and six in oak. The assembly is fairly easy if you have an electric screwdriver. If you don't, I'm sure it would be extremely time consuming. I'm not sure what one reviewer meant by needing shims. All of mine have been perfectly square. And they are really quite nice looking. The design is clean and versatile and does not distract from what you put on top of them. If I ever need more pedestals, these are the ones I will buy."

"we purchased this table to display a tiffany lamp beside my mothers favorite chair. It is the exact height (30" table) from the chair for her to reach the lamp easily. It is a good value and even matches another cherry table we purchased separetely elsewhere. We are all happy with this company."

"When I read previous reviews, they alerted that you must be good with a screwdriver. I am glad I had that alert; it wasn't as much as your ability to use one, it was ability to use the correct one. When I saw that they provided shims, I was concerned. I wasn't exactly sure where to use them, but they were definitely required, after assembling the table, it was not square, it wouldn't stand without tilting. I came up with my own strategy; time will tell if it is a long lasting solution"

"It is a nice table but I found it difficult to get the screws in.
The wood and size of the table is nice but to me the screws were a real pain"
