"In looking for a corner TV stand I visited many stores in Canada (brick and mortar & online) and could find nothing like this corner unit (most were metal and glass, and the wood ones were, well, ugly).
My main concerns were shipping to Canada, and colour (hard to tell from the photo).
SHIPPING TO CANADA
Once I placed my order, I received a quote for shipping, which included ALL the charges. The unit arrived a week later with none of the usual taxes/duty/brokerage, as it had all been taken care of in the shipping price. Well done.

ASSEMBLY
This unit was straight forward to assemble. From start (opening box) to finish (turning on my 46" TV) was less than 3 hours. Had a coffee break in there, too.
All pieces are in labeled separate bags, making it easy to find the required hardware.

**ONE piece did not have two holes drilled for the wood dowels. Marked a 5/16 drill and drilled the holes myself. Took 5 minutes. No problem.
FINISHED PRODUCT
Looks much better than picture. Lots of compliments. Colour is closer to what I was hoping for in the walnut, the picture seems to have a little more red, which is probably my monitor. The unit is sturdy (I stood on it adding some extra cables to the back it the TV) and everything aligns perfectly. Drawers, while not deep, are functional for remotes / manuals and odds and ends. They have stops to prevent them coming right out.

"Really nice piece - looks just like the picture, very solid construction, wood is very nice. Fits our 56" flat panel tv perfectly. A little tricky to put together if you are a novice but not bad. I think it would be better if they gave you finishing nails to put the back on instead of screws, but I think the screws are so you could take the back off if you needed to deal with cords. However there is a cutout for cords in the back already, which is very smart."

"We were totally satisfied with this corner wide-screen tv stand. It adds to our room and was fairly easy to assemble. We would definitely order again from Home Decorators as nothing could have gone more smoothly from ordering to shipping and receiving. We had a very positive experience and this was the first time we ever ordered anything from Home Decorators."

"I was very happy with the product once I had completed the assembly. The product was well labeled and assembly should have been a snap however half way thru I found 2 pieces that had not been "drilled" which was very frustrating and unnecessary. It was very stressful attempting to "drill assembly holes" without damaging the cabinet. Whenever assembly is necessary the biggest downer is when you run into a glich. Now that it is positioned in the corner in my family room I am very pleased with my purchase."

"We bought this stand as a temporary measure and for the money it looks very nice. We bought the dark oak but really should have purchased the MacIntosh: The dark oak is really only a medium tone of reddish-brown and it kind of stands out more than I would like. If you are looking for a drak tone, choose the MacIntosh."
