Mixed Feelings - Mostly Good Date: October 25, 2009
"I have admired these barstools for 3 years and finally decided to buy them. I love the unusual look of the back and the fact that they have wood, as opposed to metal legs - it has been a real problem finding protective foot pads for my metal-legged barstools. I found these to be very easy to assemble - it only took me 10 minutes! The only real drawback I find is their height from floor-to-seat. The catalogue lists them as 30" - a perfect height for my bar. They are actually 32"h. and I find it difficult to get onto the seat. I have noticed the online description of the Juno barstool lists a floor-to-seat height of 33", but I only noticed this discrepency today. This is a big deal to me, and may cause me to ultimately return the barstools. So, even though I find a lot to recommend this item, it is with one caveat. Do
not buy them unless you - and all of your family and friends are at least 5'5" tall!"

Really Cool Bar Stools Date: September 23, 2009
"These bars stools are very nice---something a little different from the norm------I thought a little on the expensive side but now that I have them--very worth it----yes the butt sitting area is a little restricted for a larger person, but they fit us fine so........we ordered two and one had a defective part---we called customer service and they were very helpful in getting us a replacement part-----"

"The stools are nice, but putting them together can be difficult. The screw holes are not drilled well, and are not lined up well, so it can take some work to put it all together."

"Like the product, they look great! Keep in mind that the thick cushions will compress a bit when in use. They are the same height as our old wooden stools but when my husband sat on them at our breakfast bar he felt just a bit shorter than he did with the wooden ones. Never thought about that before the purchase. Would still buy again."
