"Ive read other reviews sayign that this bench in white looks a little green..and in person, it sort of does, but it doesnt throw off decor already in place. The description does say that its antique white, so dont expect an optic white color when you get it in. the shipping was quick. My husband put the bench together in about 2 hours as their was a lot of pieces. overall, it looks cute, i really wish it was a little longer, but it will do in my small entryway for now."

"The bench is very sturdy. I bought it to fit into a little niche in our living room to put toys and craft items for our grandchildren when they are visiting and to provide extra seating in the room when the entire family is visiting. It does serve this purpose nicely. However, I was extremely disappointed in the green tinge to the antique white and that the color of the cushion did not match the color of the bench. The cushion was antigue white but, as I said, the bench is a pale green. I put it together myself (female) and found it not all that difficult if you use common sense. The directions were unclear in some areas. Arrived in perfect condition, perfectly packaged."

"We just purchased and assembled the French Country Entry Bench with wicker baskets. My husband was able to assemble it within 3 hours. Though several of the pieces were mismarked, the pictures were self-explanatory. I was disappointed in the cushion, though, which was cheaply made. Other than that, it was exactly what I expected."

"This bench was our first purchase from HDC. When we opened the box, we were shocked that the color wasn't antique white, but actually a greenish yellow..not a fan of that! Then when we pulled out all the parts, a small area on the side panel was gouged/scraped and the paint was missing. Fortunately, HDC customer service reps were fantastic to deal with. In the end, we sent the item back and will try again with a different item."

"I got the white bench with three baskets. I have no spatial skills whatsoever, but had no problem putting it together (except for installing the drawer rollers upside down because they were poorly marked). It seems a bit smaller than you would think, but it is well made. Each basket will hold one pair of my husband's huge shoes OR two pairs of my women's shoes, OR many kids shoes. The white cushion cover that it comes with is really cheap looking, but I re-covered it with designer fabric and used the zipper from it to make the new cover."

"I was very satisfies with the quality and it was everything I was expecting. I read the reviews before I bought to see what I was getting into and so I knew it might be a challenge but when it arrived it really was easier than I was expecting to put together. Probably took about 3 hours. The color was a little off but nothing that I wouldn't expect. You really can't to expect to get perfect but the size the quality the look was perfect would reccomend to everyone. It also came right on time no problems."

"The bench was difficult to assemble, exacerbatted by the mislabeling of several parts.
It took me and my husband two hours to put it together.

I think it's a sturdy piece of furniture, I just wish it was truely white and was easier to assemble."

"I searched a long time for storage which suits my purpose and is still attractive enough for display. This chest has six separate compartments of various sizes. I can store my many cosmetic and hair products attractively. Though it was a little hard to assemble, this is just what I was looking for. And I couldn't pass up on the price."

"This bench assembled without any trouble, but the color is NOT antique white or anywhere close to it. I took a picture of the bench with one of the drawers painted white...The pad is ivory, and the wood has more yellow in it than the pad. There was really no distress as stated in the description either."

"I originally purchased this bench to go with my new bedroom set (which matched perfectly) but then moved to a new house and decided to put it in my entry way. It looks very nice there and adds extra storage for little things you don't know where to put. I own 5 pieces from this collection and have put together 4 of them by myself. This one I had to have help with, it was a little more difficult, but definitely worth it. It is very sturdy and very good quality. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who likes this style. Also, I love ordering things from Home Decorators, they are very easy to work with and always incredibly nice."

"and it's a horrible shade of green, kind of yellowish, that does not look good against any color. Assembly is not bad, the illustrations are self explanatory, which is good because the text that goes with the images makes no sense what-so-ever. I primed the heck out of it and painted it a true light cream color, but I don't think it's going to hold on the finish they applied (and I'm sure the 'hand applied' description does not mean 'by a person'). I purchased this and the matching coat rack for a front entry, but with the color issue and doubful paint job, it's going to end up at the back door, outta sight! Very disappointing...... I would also think Home Decorations would review the products before they sell them on this site."
