"We looked for quite a while before we decided on this bench. The antique white is actually a cream color which is exactly what we wanted. The assembly took my husband and I two hours. The only problem was that one of the cam locks was bent and broke. Everything else went smoothly. We will probably recover the cushion as it feels a little "cheesy" but the rest of the bench seems to be well made. Delivery was early than expected and there were no damages. We are very happy with our purchase."

"I purchased the French Country bench and I never expected the assembly to be so time consuming. It took 2 men 3 1/2 hours and the tools they supplied with the unit were a joke. This item should be notated that every single piece including all the drawers, tracks, trim & and even the wicker baskets must be completely assembled. I would never buy another item like this again. It was a nightmare."

"We are well pleased with our bench. The only thing we were not estatic about was the bench seat cushion.
We now wish we had asked for the leather one as the cloth one looks inferior to the bench itself.

"While the bench is what I was looking for I was disappointed in the quality. There are parts that are not completely painted/finished, chips on some of the sections (which were there right out of the box) and I expected it to be better than this for the price. Guess that's what we get with products made in China. Once the numerous parts were out of the box it was impossible to try to get them all back in and try to return it.

It took my husband about 1 1/2 hours to put it together and he is used to assembling and building things. When together it is sturdy and I'm hoping where I put it the unpainted areas and chips won't show. This is disappointing after paying $300."

"Aside from the fact that this unit has less storage than you would think it isn't bad. There is a LOT of assembly and it will not be easy for the average person. The instructions are pretty good but you have to figure some things out on your own. READ EVERYTHING THROUGH FIRST OR YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS."

"Easy online ordering. Pictures clear and measurements appropriate. Shipping was reliable. It was delivered to the doormen in my building, so I never had a chance to open and inspect.
Assembly took 2 hours by a friend.
The color, Sage, could have been lighter for the area, but it did work out.
French Country is elegant cozy."

"This is a very pretty piece. I looked for a while before I found it and it was exactly what I wanted. However, when my husband put it together, he said it wasn't the best quality, that it was good we didn't have young children because it probably wouldn't hold up to a lot of abuse. It will definitely suit our purposes though."

"A very easy assembly...both times...must remember to observe panel orientation more carefully :). Would recommend the use of a torque adjustable cordless drill to make sure the screws are seated deely enough. Hand tightening resulted in some of the drawer fasteners not being seated deeply enough and interfering with slide operation. Also would appreciate an extra cam lock or two, since they can be damaged during clumsy assembly efforts :(. Piece looks especially elegant with lounging cat on cushion."

"Very happy with purchase. It is sturdy and well made. The bench had to be assembled but luckily my husband had a friend who was a carpender and they were able to put it together in a few hours. It was definitely worth the time. I was so hapy with the quality that I purchased four 30 inch bar stools. I love them too and no assembly required!"
