"This is the second Ethan Bench I've purchased. The first - with file cabinets - got moved into the new office/guest room. I liked the first one so well that I had to have another for the sunroom.

My husband single handedly put it together in about an hour, and I'm very pleased with the look and feel of it.

I just wish Home Decorators offered baskets that would fit in the spaces below the drawers. That would really complete the look

Overall, I am very satisfied with both the Ethan benches in particular and with HD in general."

"Great little piece of furniture. Fit the space perfectly and the function for changing boots etc by the front door. Remarkably sturdy and attractive. Installation would have been a breeze except 2 holes required for complete assembly had not been drilled (bit sloppy on the QC?). Fortunately, we had a drill so were able to correct on our own - we are glad it worked out as it was just what we were looking for."

"Nice heavy piece of furniture. Easy to assemble. Looks great in front of our bed. The only thing wrong is that it didnt come with cam lock covers so there are silver pieces visible if you look for them."

"I bought this because of the price and I needed a seat by the door and somewhere to fit my shoes. When I got it, it was much better than the picture. I think because the pic has a white back ground rather than photographed in a house setting. However, it's narrow and has a very modern feel. The cushion is alittle hard but I only use it to put shoes on at the doorway. The look is great in the house setting!"

"Very fast shipping, easy to put together. We bought this for our entry, for my son to use when putting on shoes, etc. This works perfectly in the space we had. I like the fact that it has a drawer (for my son's gloves) and a shelf below for books and backpack. Very pleased with this purchase."

"I bought this bench to use as an execise bench for my physical therapy. l looked for months to find an inexpensive, but sturdy bench that was also attactive enough to keep in our bedroom or closet. Six foot, armless, cushioned, very sturdy, inexpensive benches are almost non-existant. This one is perfect and attractive and the easiest assembly I have had. The extra storage is a bonus .
This is a fabulous bargain!"

"I had been looking at this bench for some time but was reluctant getting it not knowing how it would look. I never buy furniture online without being able to touch, feel, see it. Although they offer a no questions asked refund you do have to pay for shipping both ways which for this product would be close to $90. I am quite happy with my purchase at the sale price. I got the red cushion and although its bright, depending on placement it can brigthen up a room without looking gaudy. The wood is almost black in color, not dark brown. Assembly was not the easiest but I still managed alone in 30 min. The wood finishing and overall quality is great. The cushion is similar to memory foam but time will tell how durable it is."
