"I was disappointed to find that the colors of this rug are much more muted than the they are in the photo. I was looking for a bright, vibrant rug and this doesn't quite fit the bill."

"Love the rug! Very soft under your feet! Would recommend to anyone. The plastic wrap on outside was shredded and covered with black soot. I was very alarmed that the rug would be damaged, but luckily it was not."

"I bought this rug in the 2'6"x8' runner version for my bathroom and it looks great! I agree with the others that the colors are a bit darker in person than they appear on screen- particularly the orange, yellow, and green. I accented my room with the pink and wine colors and it looks awesome. I would absolutely recommend this rug to others."

"I purchased for my daughter's bedroom and it's perfect! The rug is very thick and cushioned and honestly looks much better than what the picture represents. It's not quite as busy-looking. I do agree that the colors represented are not quite accurate. They are deeper and slightly muted, but the pink and green paint still coordinates very well next to them.
The price was a little more than I wanted to pay for a rug in my 5 year old daughter's bedroom, but so far, it has held up well with the traffic (and spray protectant). It's well worth the investment."

"After seeing this rug on the HGTV show "Color Splash" I just had to have it. I bought the rug online having never seen it in person and have to admit it's even better than I had hoped for. I was not expecting the rug to be so soft and thick. It's great. The colors are the same as they appeared in the picture. The cream is not very dark, so it works in a dining room with white chair rail. I would recommend using the rug and fabric protector sold on this website. I originally tried to use a different protector that is very well-known and it pulled a little bit of color off the rug. I'm very happy with this rug and glad I made this purchase."

"This rug is a knock-out! The colors are very much as shown and they are great. The green is a deep avocado, the yellow is a celadon or lemon-grass. pink is a dusty rose and blue an interesting shade of blue - not quite royal blue it has a touch of gray in the blue. Do not paint until you get this rug, the colors are unusual and lovely."

"This is a great quality, nice, thick rug. The retro pattern is so perfect for my house. The colors are more muted than the picture shows, the caramel and browns shown are actually darker and less warm than shown. And I should have gotten the larger size, 5x8 would be perfect, but Still a great purchase!"

Colors Differ from Picture

"This is still an attractive rug, but the colors are more muted and the tones are much different than what appears my computer screen. For example, what looks like orange in the picture is really more of a sienna brown, the pink is really more of a dark dusty rose, the blue is a deep dark blue and the yellow is a dark almost greenish gold. I was hoping for the more bright and vibrant colors depicted on the website's picture."

"I was very disappointed in this rug. It does not look as pictured. I have bought several rugs and lately, they don't seem to be the same quality and as aesthetically pleasing as they used to be.
I am a loyal Home Decorators customer and have spent thousands of dollars with this company, but probably will not purchase any more rugs."

"This rug looks like it has a white (very light back ground), and although the color name is cream, all of the colors are not represented well in the photos in the catalog or online. The colors are very dark compared to how bright they look in the catalog. ANd who wants to send back a huge rug they have unwrapped??? I had to buy all new paint for the room because the overall colors were much darker than shown."
