Disappointing Purchase

"1. Directions that came with package was just a light photo copy and not even showing the full page.
2. the length of the pulley isnt long enough to mount to window sill and a piece of it was cracked off when unpacking and so could not even mount.
3. the online measuring instructions calls for you to measure from inside mount down to sill, and therefore, the track size would be subtracted out to leave you with the correct length of blinds. This didnt happen and so I had to take them to my local home depot to have them cut to correct size."

WAS SENT THE WRONG MOUNTING

"Love the blinds, but was sent the wrong mounting. We had to get creative and finally got them up, but I'm sure it would have looked better with the correct mounting."

Decent blinds for the price

"I like the blinds. They are decent quality for the price. I did not like that they come with a drawstring and a pull chain. The previous set had one wand that did both operations.
The end pieces were smashed upon arrival. I called and was told I would get an e-mail within 3 business days for instructions for return shipment. 5 days later I still have not heard from their manufacturer."

Nice product but some reservations.

"I bought this blind for a very wide window. Most companies do not offer blinds at the width I needed--esp. not vertical, faux-wood blinds, so I give Home Decorators high marks for having a blind to accomadate my needs. The installation isn't necessarily difficult but it is tedious and takes awhile (By the way, my blind is 102"X61"). I am a relentless perfectionist where home decorating is concerned, which probably adding to the length of time it took to install this blind! Also, I worked alone and thus, I would recommend having help if your blind is large. Once the hardware was installed, the headrail snapped into place on the first try! I was thrilled. The slats installed easily. unfortunately though, a couple of the slats were damaged. H.D. is replacing them but I was disappointed because I had waited several weeks for the product to arrive. Still, this is a nice product, esp. for very large windows. My neighbors across the street have commented about how nice it looks streetside. Overall, a nice product."
