Better than the average polyester rug

"The rug in the 9x12 size has nice varied shadings that allow it to blend with other similar colors in the room. The pile is medium high and rather dense. The density gives it a better feel and appearance than other similar sized rugs in my home. I have not noticed any shedding thus far and initially leads me to feel that it will last at least a decade of daily wear and use. I would purchase the rug again."

"I am very pleased with my purchase of this runner for my front hallway. The reviews I read before I bought it mentioned that the rug might be darker than it appeared in the picture on the website, and that was indeed the case. However, knowing that ahead of time, I was not surprised or disappointed. I really like how it feels and looks."

"I hesitated to order this online for fear the colors would be different than they appeared in the catalogue & online. There was a green in the actual carpet that I couldn't see from the picture, but I was pleasantly surprised, because it actually blended even better than I had imagined! I ordered a square piece (8 x 8) that actually turned out to be 8 x 7'6", but it still worked so it wasn't worth the hassle of trying to return."

"We got this rug for our office. The colors are beautiful, workmanship is very nice. It's thick enough, but our office chair rolls easily on it. We also purchased the Monte Carlo Club Leather chair to compliment the burnt orange in the rug, they match beautifully! Very happy with this purchase."

"My wife had seen this rug this summer and showed my daughter who then showed me. So my wife never knew that I had ever even seen this rug.
My wife had mentioned that she didn't want to spend $300 for an area rug at the time though.
Truthfully, I felt that the price was high with the included shipping charges so I waited till free shipping was available and ordered the rug without my wife knowing that I did so.
It arrived while she was at work and I had it on the floor and in place when she arrived home, she was very pleased and it is a nice addition.
Home decorators would do a LOT more business if they reduced the shipping charges somewhat or on a more frequent basis.
As far as the rug itself, only time will tell as to it's lasting ability and quality, it does fit well and looks nice though. The item also came very well packaged. I think that I should add a padding or non-slip pad underneath though."

"I was reluctant to make this purchase because some of the reviewers said it had a lot of green in it. The 4 x 6 rug I received had no green and it was very true to the website picture. I now wish I had ordered a larger size to use in my dining room. It looks great in my den, though and I'm very pleased with the purchase."

"I've had this rug for about three weeks now and absolutely love it. It has a very nice thickness and the colors blend beautifully with my orange kitchen and decor. It brings the kitchen together and is a great fit underneath the oak dinette set. I would recommend this rug to anyone!"

I purchased this rug about 5 months ago and, although it is in our family room, has held up wonderfully. It is a short nap but very dense. It's a great rug and I would highly recommend it.

"This is not a "bad" rug it just isn't very plush like others I've ordered. For the price... it's okay. The colors are not as vibrant as I had hoped and knowing that I was paying less for a good size rug should have told me something. If you are looking for a rug that isn't very thick, you don't want vibrant colors and you want a lower cost rug, then this product is for you."

"I originally found this rug at another retailer but wasn't happy with their price. At that moment I started searching high and low, hoping to find it at a better price. HDC to the rescue!
As for the rug itself, don't get me wrong, the rug is beautiful but the colors are a tad bit darker than I hoped. (just an FYI) The ends were a bit curled, but heavy books took care of that. I also placed a rug mat underneath to keep it from shifting and as an added bonus this increased the thickness underfoot."
