"Each drawer is 3.75 inches deep. "Antique White" Color is a little yellow like Sherwin Williams Dover White washed with Lemon Meringue. Saving grace is that the sides are detailed with the grooved wood. It took two men 3 hours on a Sunday to put it together and they did not complain about the quality or instructions. Using in foyer for hats & gloves. Deeper drawers would have been better for my purpose. Even though price seems a little steep, it is the best I could do in French Country for quality etc. Looks nice and it's sturdy!"

"My husband and I began putting the chest together as soon as it arrived. Went together in a breeze. Looks great in my sewing room. The seven drawiers are deep enough to store all my accessories and the slides work with ease. Very attractive piece at a very reasonable cost."

"This is truly an exquisite piece of furniture - very well made - a fit with any decor. It was however very challenging to put together. My husband who is extremely good with this type of challenge had his hands full. Worth the effort, however."
