"I spent hours searching for a kitchen area rug. My criteria were: 1) Not another Persian-type rug; 2) Light enough so as to not show the dog hair of my two loving but shedding dogs; 3) Not too light so as to show dirt; 4) Something bright and cheery, but not too bold. I found plenty of rugs with the colors I was looking for, but most were too dark. I found very few hooked rugs, and those were at least $1500. I finally came back to this website and searched again when I found this rug. It's perfect! My dogs have walked on it and laid on it and it looks as great as it did when I first purchased it. The colors are very close to the picture online. This rug was a third of the cost of the rugs I considered and so much more attractive! The only downside is that some of the threads seem to fray a little on the borders which is why I gave it four stars in workmanship. Other than that, it's an excellent value!"

"I purchased the large area rug and matching runner. The colors are beautiful and I was initially pleased with my purchase. We are a "shoeless" house so the rugs are subject to average wear and tear. But after a few weeks there are several snags and I'm concerned about its durabilty."
