"This wine rack fits our space perfectly. At first we were concerned about its ability to hold weight, since it is mounted with only two screws, but we have had no problem at all! When mounting on the wall, be sure to allow the extra inches of length when the wine glasses hang down. We love it!"

Good quality, mounting hardware inadaquate Date: May 11, 2009
"Nice solid wine rack, but you really need to use some sort of toddle bolt. The holes in the top of rack are spaced at 16 1/2 inches apart, so that makes it impossible to mount into a stud in your wall. Unless for some strange reason your studs are spaced at 16 1/2 inches instead of the standard 16 inches. So go to the hardware store and get the toggle bolts and I would recommend mounting a piece of wood to the studs in your wall so the top of the rack where you put the screws in can rest on that to take some of the vertical weight off your wall. This was for the large wine rack that holds 11 bottle and something like 36 glasses. You may not need to do any of this for the smaller rack. But the wine rack itself is very sturdy and attractive. Hope this info is useful!"

What a rack! Date: May 5, 2009
"This is quite a substantial wine rack for the money. However, inspect it carefully when you receive it as we found a bent strut where the wine bottles rest and an area that had some rust scale that had been repainted. HD was very accommodating in offering to replace it."

"I bought the wine rack in black and gold. The finish is nice and assembly was easy. We did have two problems though. The bar across the top was welded on tilted. It isn't noticable enough to send the item back, but construction could be better monitored. Other than this, the unit seemed well made and sturdy. The other problem was the weight. The rack is heavy and pulled the included plugs and screws right out of the drywall. We used toggle bolts instead, making the wine rack well-secured to the wall. May be a little over priced, but overall I am quite happy."
