"I was dissapointed with this purchase because:
1. It was difficult to assemble for one person. It can be done, but the assistance of another person would make it much easier. Also, the assembly directions were not easy to follow and they were not descriptive enough to make the assembly easier.
2. One of the panel components, that was supposed to have pre-drilled holes, did not come with the pre drilled holes. I had to call and order a replacement panel. Delivery took about 2 weeks for that.
3. Some of the wood panels arrived with scratches. Fortunately in my case, the scratches are located where they are not readily visable.
4. I thought the unit is overpriced."

Helps with shoe clutter

"This bench works very well in reducing the clutter caused by all the shoes that my wife and I have. It looks very nice and is very functional. Many reviewers are accurate in saying that the shoe bins are too small to put two adult shoes in. However, if you put your shoes in the bin like you were putting them in a shoe box, they will fit just fine (I wear a men's size 10 and all my shoes fit). The drawers are handy, but don't have a lot of height. They are excellent for keys or gloves, but not much else. The biggest gripe that I have with this unit is that the foam cushion cannot be removed. The bench is very sturdy and looks very nice right now. But after a few years of use, my concern is that the foam cushion might need to be replaced or re-upholstered. Because it's permanently attached to the bench, it could get dirty or worn out in a few years and there won't be much you can do about it."

"Great product. assembly was rather easy but it is heavy. Only thing I was concerned about was the shipping package. It was pretty damaged (maybe because of weight) but due to good wrapping the items were fine. Please note that the compartments do not fit comfort boots."
