"Great piece of furniture. Plan to spend a day putting together. Have a friend to help. Goes much faster with two.
If you aren't good at putting this kind of thing together, hesitate to buy."

"bought desk so could have desk that would fold up and hide computer, printer, and papers when not in use. Is very good for this purpose. Quality is not so good- already have chip of particle board coming out of one board and cracked door panel. Took five hours to assemble, would have been faster if used power screwdriver. Overall, I wish the materials were sturdier and the price is high given the quality and difficulty of assembly."

"this has to be the worst piece of furniture we have ever purchased. it fell apart twice. it just crumbled and fell over. this was when it was empty, not even finished, thank goodness we had not put anything in it yet. however they were very nice when I called to return. they should get rid of anything made of this material."

"I love this desk!! It looks great in my room. Everything fits perfectly in it. You can't even tell there is a computer in it. It doesn't overpower the wall its on or the room its in. Easy to put together but time consuming. Good quality!"

Very useful - perfect size
Date: September 28, 2008
"The office center is just the perfect size to fit in any room. The upper area fits my 20 inch monitor and CPU tower perfectly with room for a power strip and phone. The drop down is very sturdy and makes an ideal work surface.
On the down side:
DO NOT ASSEMBLE YOURSELF!!!!
The cam bolts break easily hand tightening with a screwdriver. The particle board splits open when lifting to attach back. I have bought items from Ikea before and have assembled them no problem, this was a material quality issue. I bought the unit at the Home Depot design center and they will assemble for $35, worth every penny."
