"I purchased this for a mobil home rental. It is so compact when not extended. It really opened up the space in the kitchen. It was very easy to put together. It is very heavy and sturdy. I put it together myself (female age 64). All you need to do is attach the legs."

"This table was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a table that expanded when I had company for dinner, yet folded up to fit into my too small diningroom. I was able to fit 8 adults around it comfortably for a meal. After the meal, we removed the inserts and put it against the wall. For the price it is a beautiful piece of furniture. Putting it together, no problem...just had to attach the legs. I am totally satisfied with this table."

"I will be using this tomorrow for Thanksgiving to help seat some of my 20 family members. It was easy to assemble and expands easier than my dining room table. One of the leaves has a pretty deep scratch from shipping but nothing on the part that will show when I am using it as writing dest. Very Happy with purchase so far!"

"This is a great table. It was easy to assemble and looks great. I had planned on using it for the holidays and for crafts. But the instructions that came with it say that it was not made to be left fully extended for long periods of time (weeks). i had planned on leaving it up all winter, but now I am afraid it will collapse if do. It still seems sturdy enough in the second position."

"I'm amazed at the quality of this table. I didn't expect any piece of furniture purchased online to be this substantial, well-crafted, and attractive. It works so well in my limited space as both a game table and a larger dining table, then neatly disappears into this compact console when I need the floor space. Since this is the only manufacturer I've found with a comparable product, I'm exceedingly pleased it's as beautiful as it is functional. And it was delivered within 2 days of my order; you can't beat that!"

"It was easy to put together and it is made of real wood (not partical board and laminate). Super cool how it goes from a console table to dinning room table to seat eight and easy to do. "This table will be functional enough. Unfortunately it came with a big flaw in the wood on the table top.
Because it is so heavy and hard to get out of the box much less repack it, I am forced to keep it.

"Very pleased with this table. Bought two to use end to end as an expandable boardroom table which we can collapse when not needed. Quality materials and craftsmanship, attractive style, easy to expand and collapse. Looks fine for business use.
It's quite heavy, which is a reflection of its quality materials and sturdy construction. But it takes two strong people to move it and pull it in and out. I would consider putting casters on it."

"I had seen this table in a catalogue and really liked it but was only offered in cherry. Eventually I found it in the oak/mission brown. I am delighted with the table. It is exactly what I needed. "I was interested to see that someone else also commented that the table was hard to open. I bought it in January and just yesterday tried to expand it to seat 6 people. It was nearly impossible to open-- I had to take out some screws just to make it open enough to get one leaf in. It's almost like the wood expanded making the joints too tight to move. I'm really disappointed about this. Otherwise it's a very nice table and I was really excited to get it for my small apartment."

"Waited all during our remodel to purchase this for our big dinners. GREAT IDEA..but it WILL NOT OPEN!! My husband and I use ALL types of clamps and strechers to open and close it.
We have used OILs ...petrolem jelly etc. .
( We refinish furniture ..thought it would be nice to buy something new.) It usually take 1hour PLUS to open and close. Oh..it is veneer."
