"This is a beautiful lamp. I ordered 2 of them and am very pleased with the way they look. The shade is made of a material that looks and feels like leather. Unlike the previous poster, the shades on my lamps are not too dark - they look very much like the picture. Also, although the description says they are rated for only a 60-watt bulb, the instructions that come with the lamp say 100-watt bulb, which is great because I'm using them as reading lamps. I couldn't be more pleased with the look (and price) of these lamps!"

Inaccurate Color

"This is a nice quality lamp. However, I give it only three stars because the shade is much darker than it appears in the picture. It is a mixture of chocolate brown (predominant color) and a black-brown in the creases. Color variation is very subtle. Since it will go on dark walls, I was hoping for a lighter brown/tan color with dark brown as the secondary color, as shown online. If I'd have seen this lamp in person, I would have never considered it because of the unsuitable color. For quality, I would give it four stars."
