"This office center was my third piece from the Wuchow collection (I also have the tall tv stand and a bookcase) but the first one I was disappointed by. Maybe that is why I was able to catch it on sale! None of the pre-drilled holes matched up when it was time to put hinges on, and there are a lot of hinges in this piece so this became irritating rather quickly! It arrived with a couple scratches, but I decided as they were not in places that would be visible when assembled not to bother with trying to exchange it. The directions on this piece were much less clear than other pieces and I had to do trial and error on a few steps until I got it right. I eventually got it all together, but the drawers, even after a lot of adjusting, have to be firmly closed because it is such a tight squeeze. The back pieces could not possibly fit correctly no matter which way I laid them out, they were simply too big for the grooves along the back edges, but with patience and a few tools, you can shave them down along one edge and it will work in the end. I would not recommend this to someone who is inexperienced with assembling furniture, as I had to spend about 4 hours on it myself and there were issues that had to be fixed to complete the assembly. However, if you have time, patience, and some tools beyond the basic screwdriver the instructions call for, it does look very good assembled and holds a lot more than it looks like it would."

"The drawers do not match up to slide in properly. It's a mess. I have checked and rechecked the assembly instructions and I have done it correctly.
Now I cannot return it and I have to redo the drawer slides to make it functional. It also had scratches and imperfections on the finish from the manufacturing process.
I'm really upset that I did not assemble this within the 45 days so that I could return it for a refund, but the time to take it apart and reship would have been ridiculous as it is so heavy anyway.
I had purchased another item I was very happy with and so has a friend of mine. That's why I didn't bother to assemble within the warranty period. Shame on me."

"It is not a sturdy as I would have liked. It was very hard to put together. I had to have help from a friend. So be prepared. It took all day long to assemble. An electric screw driver will help."

"I had spent many days and hours searching everywhere for a computer armoire that would fit my small living room which was painted shades of red. I found exactly what I was looking for with this armoire. The suggestion of Asia (a lifelong interest) only cemented my decision to purchase.
Sturdily built and compact but more than adequate for my needs, I treasure my new addition to my living space. Assembly was complex but followed carefully, the completed project is well worth the effort. I look forward to purchasing more items from Home Decorators in the future. Thank you!"
