"The Valence was nice looking but the factory brackets on the back were stapled on and we not in the right location for our windows. It would be better to provide screws to mount the bracket so it properly fits the window."

"These 2" wood blinds look far more expensive. I recently replaced the blinds in our Great Room, and love them. So this time I got blinds for the Guest Room. Easy to install, very stylish. Be sure to order samples so that you get the correct color! Other than that, no worries. Fast shipping."

"These blinds are very beautiful. They are constructed well. Only problem was that several were the wrong length. That is being resolved and new ones are being sent as replacements. It's not a perfect world!"

"We absolutely love our new blinds! Once we got the "hang" of mounting them, they were a piece of cake to install. They look fabulous, have created exactly the "feel" we wanted in our rooms yet we can still look out and see our fabulous water views.
I would not recommend using this type of design in a heavily used area as they are a bit delicate as they sit only on strings, which we choose as we did not want to see any tapes running on either side of the blind.
We are on our 4th room for these blinds. We love them!"

"Beautiful color, smooth finish, I'm ready to order more just like this blind. I opted for the cords vs. the wands this time, I've had wands break before after repeated use, the cords look great. Just had a new home built and I'm planning on getting all my windows identical."

"Blinds are a good product at a very reasonable price. Be careful when installing, because the slats are not fixed between the guides that each one is supported by and will fall out of the assembly. If you're careful, the installation is simple and the results are beautiful!"

"This is the fourth or fifth wood blind I've purchased from Home Decorators and I could not be happier with them! Not only do they arrive well packaged and damage free, but remarkably, they arrive in days rather than weeks, unusual for custom made blinds. In every case they've arrived well before the promised date. Installation is a breeze and they look terrific in my old Victorian home. I have fairly long windows, especially on the first floor, and HD can always supply me with just the right fit. I have had the first one I bought for 3 or 4 years and it looks as good as the day I got it. With the frequent promotions, coupons, discounts and free upgrades HD provides, I will soon have my whole house decorated with attractive, functional wood blinds at a very reasonable cost."

"These blinds are so consistent and they are the ones that I go to many times for the basic start of a window treatment. I always pick the routless feature to keep from seeing light through the holes when they are tilted up or down. In Texas, that is very necessary for rooms with high volumes of sunlight from the west or south - especially around TVs. I recently received blinds that were not exactly as I had ordered, they were corrected immediately (no questions asked) and I could not have been more pleased. Thank you and keep up the good work."

"This set of blinds is the 7th one I've bought as I am replacing windows in my home and redecorating. I have one more very large window to replace and plan order the same blinds for it. These are exceptionally good quality, beautiful wood and Home Dec makes it sooo easy to order. If you measure according to their instructions, your blinds will fit perfectly and you cannot beat the price. I have been a customer for several years, purchasing many types of home items, and I have never been disappointed with the quality and service."

Blinds are Just What I Wanted

"The blinds look great, were pretty easy to install, and were exactly what I ordered. My only complaint is that it took over 2 months to get them and HDC could not give me a reason why they were delayed. After receiving an email telling me they would be delayed yet again (delivery expected more than 3 months after I ordered them), I called HDC. Their customer service was very good but they still had trouble getting an answer from the manufacturer. The blinds came earlier than the new expected delivery date, not long after I had called. I hope HDC can secure more reliable manufacturing relationships for their great products."

"I was extremely impressed with this purchase, for the money I think these blinds are a great value and one of the best deals anywhere. I ordered for 2 windows and was happy enough to order 8 more for the rest of the house. The only downside was shipping costs."
