"I was looking for a very substantial clock for my wall and this was perfect. Like the other reviews, the hands are very difficult to see because they bend into the wall. I am planning on painting them a color to stand out. Just not sure of the color yet."

"The picture here does not do this clock justice. It looks much better in person. I bought it as a replacement for another large wall clock that died after many years of use. The price was reasonable and it looks much better than my old one. I definitely recommend it to anyone."

"This is a beautiful rust-colored clock that adds a great accent to a dining room wall without hiding the color of the wall. However, when we changed to Daylight Savings Time this weekend, I took it down and carefully adjusted the time. The hour hand no longer had any tension. It just hung at 6:00. I took it apart and adjusted the hands and it seems to be working okay for now. I am keeping my receipt handy just in case --"

Clock doesn't work

"I love the look of this clock and have been trying to get it to work for three weeks to no avail. The hands are very flimsy so they constantly rug against the inside of the clock and get stuck. The screw that holds the hands onto the face of the clock has to constantly be adjusted. I am returning this clock and hoping that a replacement will be a better product but i am not hopeful."

"Large decorative clock fulfills two functions: looks great and tells time accurately.
Rustic color scheme is high grade .
Clock is VERY lightweight so hanging it is not an issue.
Sometimes difficult to focus in on exact time as design gets carried away and hides clock hands. The UPside to that is the piece becomes more an accent / look rather than a constant reminder of the time bearing down on all in the room.
BEST if used with a lighter color background."

"Clock looks perfect over our fireplace. Beautiful design. A small dent is present, but it being a metal wall structure, it is acceptable. Overall pleased with the purchase. Good value for the money if you happen to buy during a sale, which i did. It looks much more expensive than what it costs."

"Clock looks wonderful up high on our wall - however it is not truly flat/flush to the wall from the welding job. Also, some part of the clock mechanic seems to be stripped, it won't lift the hour hand past 6 even after "fixing".
Dark brown coloring with hints of reddish brown. Looks great against any lighter color backgrounds."

"We wanted a large clock for our Living Room. We have 20 foot ceilings and were looking for something large but not huge. This adds a great statement to the room. It is a little hard to actually tell time on it due to the hands being small and they wash out. We fixed that by painting the hands a nice terra cota color to match our accent walls. All in all I'm very pleased with the iron work."

"This item is everything we were looking for in a clock. The only complaint would be that the hands of the clock are hard to see when it darker as the entire middle section is the same metal color. I plan on highlighting them a bit with a copper-tinted paint. Other than that, it's absolutely beautiful!"

"I love the way this clock looks in our room and have received compliments on it. However, I had some issues with the clock hands at first. They're very thin and flexible, and kept getting "caught" on each other, so that time (literally) stood still. I had to reset the hands a few times. Since then, I haven't had any issues. It's a great clock for the price."

"This clock is very good-looking in person and a great value, considering most higher-quality open-back clocks of this size would be at least twice the cost.
I agree with previous reviewers that the clock hands are difficult to see because everything is the same color, but I really didn't mind it. We hung ours on a light-colored wall, which probably makes the hands appear more visible.
Others have mentioned that the clock doesn't keep good time, but so far ours has been perfect. However, we did have to readjust the tightness of component holding the hour and second hands to the clock because as the second hand moved, the hour hand moved with it...they had been too tightly screwed together.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase."
