"The cabinet looks great in the catalog but appears cheap in person. The woodgrain is extremely thin. I dropped my cell phone on the top and it made a hole the size of the dime and all the particle board is exposed."

"The design and functionality of the product is great. Fits perfectly into my bedroom. I'm not an experienced assembler though, and has some trouble. Some of the drawer glides were labled wrong and I installed them upside down. The chat person couldn't help much either. The instructions could have had clearer pictures in this area."

"It took a while and a ton of patience to assemble this VERY heavy tv stand. It looks like the pics, it does have a bit of an orange tint to it. But once together everything works fine. The holes all lined up perfectly, there were no issues there. I highly recommend putting some of those "slider" thingies underneath before it's completed, so it'll be easier to move into and out of the spot you end up keeping it in. That way you can gain better access to the stereo cables and such. Overall, I'm pleased."

"This is our third piece of this style furniture, got it for our new big screen TV. All of them are very solid and well made. The pieces lined up perfectly during assembly, and the directions were easy to understand. This is not the typical 'cheap' do it yourself assembled furniture, as we have bought before. This will last for a lifetime."

"I bought this about 2 months ago and put a 47in LCD tv on it. The center of the stand is sagging. Now the upper drawers will not close well also. I would not recommend this item."

A great way to get a big piece of furniture

"When this arrive in two boxes, I thought "Oh no! I'll never get this together". Then I read all the directions and looked at all the pieces and it came together like a dream. It called for two people to work on it but I was able to do it by myself. It is a solid piece of work and I am quite proud that a man my age and with my handicaps could do this. It was a very satisfying experience. I did make some "improvements" as I worked. I added all the drawer slides before assembling the major sections. That saved a lot of time and effort. I think anyone with a screw driver and a little thoughtfulness can make a beautiful piece of furniture. By the way don't use a power screw drive. It is not needed because all the holes are pre-drilled and you get a better feel for how tight and precise it comes together."

"I am 5ft. 3in. and was able to put this piece of furniture together myself, 100%!! It was well packed, no scratches at all, was easy to unpack. The wood is beautiful and substantial in weight. I am a nut in that I have to finish things once I start them, so needless to say my hand was very tired, but that was my fault. It was very easy and fun. I actually felt like I accomplished something in putting this together. The directions were easy to read as well."

"We looked at many different furniture pieces for our bedroom, but all were to short and then we finally found this one and it was perfect. Product looks really nice after assembled. We ordered the Machintosh Oak color and it is a bit more red then the picture, but still looks great with our dark cherry bedroom set."
