"This was meant to be a Christmas present for my husband; however, he saw the name on the box when it was delivered and said, "Ohhh, an Astrolabe! I've always wanted one of those!" So...
Now he's got what he's always wanted. And, I didn't make him wait another 2 months for it ;-P
Suspicious of the great deal I got on it, he inspected it thoroughly looking for 'cheapness' defects. I'm pleased to report he found none, declared it a sound investment and a darn good deal.
Now I just have to find him another Christmas gift...

"The arms on this are plastic. Obvious cheap plastic arms. Disappointed. Otherwise the dial is nice. I haven't decided if I will keep it."
