"So got the small hamper for a nursery and it is perfect. I debated over which size to get and I can't imagine having one of the larger sizes in the room as our room is not overly large. There is plenty of room for lots of baby clothes and love that there is a bag that pulls out. I can't say I feel it is worth full price so am very glad I waited until it went on sale. I would have given the product 5 stars if the price I paid was the regular retail price."

"This hamper works well in our little boy's room with an animal theme. The hamper is well-constructed and looks terrific. The eyes are firmly attached. We are likely going to purchase one in white for our little girl. We bought the medium size which was just right for us. The cream-colored liner inside is well-made and firmly attached, too."

"I got the smallest elephant, which holds about one large laundry basket of clothes. It's light but sturdy, well-constructed, the lid fits loosely but well. Popping my dirty laundry into this basket is fun -- it adds a touch of lightheartedness to the end of my day. The basket is exactly as pictured. The little bits (eyes, whiskery things) are firmly attached, and there are no wicker-ends sticking out to catch clothes. One velcro patch that holds the liner is loose so I only gave 4 stars for workmanship, but it isn't getting worse.

I love it! I might use this one for delicates and get the medium size for the rest of my clothes when it's available, because the small one's not quite large enough for my needs. But that's a supply issue, not a problem with the product."

"It is what I was expecting. There is a little bit of glue left over from the manufacturer on the side of the ear (which I wish the receiving department would have looked at) but other than that. I love it! It is a little pricey though."

"I bought this hamper to sit by the fireplace and hold pine cones/sticks for kindling. It's ADORABLE!!! Well made, a lining that holds all the woodsy debris from the kindling, and the lid keeps it looking tidy. Exactly the sort of basket I was looking for. It's perfect!"

Sturdy, quirky, roomy Date: October 7, 2009
"This is a nice, sturdy, decorative hamper. The one I bought is a bit large (lucky my bathroom is a bit large, too), so if I was doing it over I would buy the next size down. That said, this will look very good when I finally finish decorating my bathroom in the East Indian style I have chosen. The hamper is roomy and deep, and is lined with a removable, breathable cloth bag that keeps your laundry safe from the possibility of snags and lessens the likelihood of mildew. My only gripes are that the lid doesn't quite fit (hey, it's wicker--it's the right size, just not as perfectly round as the hamper itself) and the large black plastic eyes on the elephant are a little cutesy for my taste (more suited for a child's room, and I don't have any of those). I've debated removing the eyes, but I'll probably leave them alone."

"I needed a place to store all the blankets and pillows the husband and kids use at night while watching TV that are strewn about the room. I wanted something unique, not just a wicker basket. The rattan elephant is eye catching and a conversation piece. Although the price is a bit high, the quality is excellent. I bought the large size in the brown and it holds quite a lot. I am very happy with this purchase!"

"I bought the medium version of this and for a hamper that costs this much I would expect the top to fit better and be more secure. It's flimsy and doesn't fit well. It is very cute thou and looks good in the nursery and holds a lot of clothes."

"We ordered the mid-sized. Holds A LOT of laundry. Very cute. The only negative... the lid seems a bit chinsey. Seems like it should be heavier-duty for the price and since the "elephant" itself is more heavy duty. I feel like I'll have to be careful with the lid so it doesn't fall apart; for example, if was accidentally stepped on I think it would splinter into a million pieces. Overall, though, I like it. It's something different being an elephant and pretty cute."

"I purchased the large elephant hamper in getting my nursery ready for a new baby. The large hamper ended up being way too big for that use, but I'm going to use it as a place to put toys and stuffed animals instead. It looks absolutely adorable in the room and really adds something special. The one problem that I did see with the hamper is that the velcro strips where you are supposed to detach the canvas lining are poorly glued on and when I went to remove the canvas bag inside the back side of most of the strips came unglued even with gentle tugging. I will have to reglue these myself or find some other way of keeping them attached. This is more of an annoyance than anything. I still really like the hamper."

"I purchased this hamper in a honey color; sized medium. When it arrived I was so pleased! Shipping was quick and the product was in perfect condition. It is light but sturdy. I was pleased to find that the liner was attached at the top edge with velcro so you could easily just pull out the bag when full (great since I have to go downstairs to do the laundry). The only thing that makes me give it 4 stars is that the lid JUST BARELY fits on top. It's ALMOST too small and sometimes falls through the hole. I have to gently place it on top just right for it to not fall inside. Perfect otherwise!"

"I ordered the elephant hamper in white. It looks exactly as shown in the picture online and is just perfect for a nursery!
The basket is quite sturdy and there is an inner liner which is removable making it very convenient for frequent washes (and carrying laundry up and down the stairs).
While its a bit expensive for a hamper/laundry basket, it really is unique and so cute!
Very satisfied with the purchase!"
