"It was just as advertised. Just what I expected. I hate assemblies. But this one was doable. I really wanted the McIntosh dark look, but it wasn't available at that time. So this was fine."

Avoid like the plague

"This is an awful item, don't order it. It's advertised to hold 12 pairs of shoes. Only if we are talking doll shoes. For adult size 8, I can only get 6 pairs of shoes max. Construction is shoddy, a couple of parts of the fiber board elements broke off during assembly, making sturdy final assembly impossible. Design is poorly thought out, making proper assembly virtually impossible. We've bought several other pieces from Home Decorators and they are great. This one's a dud, however."
