"I hesitated to buy an outdoor run on-line as some I've seen have the texture of woven plastic. That is not the case with this rug. It is soft, and looks like a normal rug. The blue/straw colors are true, although the straw might be slightly lighter in person. We've only been using it for a week, but we really like it."

"Gorgeous rug, thick, luxurious pile, color was true to catalogue and Internet. However, I do agree with one of the reviewers who said the pattern was bold. It's not a small pattern. Diameter of each bud on the runner was over an inch, and we're talking about a considerable amount of buds and stems. The gold part of the rug (I purchased the rust one) was not the prettiest gold, almost like a faded, washed-out gold. Ultimately, the rug didn't work with my decor and had to send it back, but the rug, overall, is very pretty, despite my comment about the gold. Just note it's a bolder pattern than what comes across in the catalogue and Internet."

"I purchased this rug because I wanted something with a classic look that wasn't too busy. Many rugs have either no pattern or are overwhelming and dominate the room. This has a subtle but interesting look and softens the appearance of a stark wood floor.
The quality of this rug is excellent and the colors are true. At last....this rug was accurately represented in the catalog and on the website. A rare event these days"

"This is a lovely rug but the color photo in the catalog and online are not true to life. The manufacturer calls this rug sage...I would call it olive-a much warmer green with a lot of yellow tone to it. Did not blend with my deeper sage green tile."

"I looked near and far, but I kept coming back to this rug. Initially, I kept hesitating because I was concerned that the color (terra) might not work with the rest of the room decor. When I received the rug, the color was true to the color represented in the catalog and internet and I am so pleased with its appearance and quality.
I love it! Now if my dog will only stay away when he gets nauseated......."

"this rug is beautiful. I chose this rug in white. background is an off white not bright white, design is in charcoal and the darker places are black. It is just the right thickness. I am using it as an area rug in a busy area of my livingroom. I would definately recommend this rug. When my floor is down and my room is finished I will send a photo."

"After agonizing about our first big rug purchase from Home Decorators, we decided to go with the Sakura design. We were very pleased with the thickness of the pile & the overall appearance of the rug. The color & design are quite true to the online photos. There are a couple of spots where the weave is loose, but so far the rug is holding up & looks beautiful!"

"This rug looked and felt very expensive. I was extremely happy with the quality. However, the blue was more like a blue/grey then blue. I had to send it back, but I have purchased the ivory/gold color and know that that wil look wonderful in my room. Looking forward to getting the new one. Again, very impressed with the design and quality. Felt the shipping was a little high."
