"This cabinet is not your typical file cabinet. I actually bought it for the appearance but will be able to use it to store files and organize my records. No assembly was needed but I had to put the box on its side to slide the cabinet out. The cabinet is heavy and this made it easier to remove from the box."

"Thiis piece looks great in my kitchen. I bought the 3 drawer and now all the unsightly bills, nd magazines that come in the mail have an organized place to go. I would have given it 5 stars - remember it comes already asembled which is terrific - but it is a little wobbly and I had to shim up one side so it doesn't tilt back and forth. But it's worth it!"

"I cannot think of one bad thing to say about this purchase. It was exactly what I was looking for and at the price I could afford. My small office is in our sunroom, just off the family room, and it compliments the antique roll-top desktop it is sitting beside while bringing a little of the oriental influence throughout my house into a very informal room. I love it!"

"These look gorgeous in our Oriental themed office. Drawers open/close/'seat' smoothly. Ordered a 2Drawer and 3Dr...then another 2Dr. Before we had 2Dr 15Wx18D metal file cabinets. I MUST say these new Milieu units actually have 3-4" LESS filing space/capacity/depth than the old units. Plus, if you're using 'letter' size, you'll lose an ADD'L 3Wx13D area ('strip') along the left side of each drawer -- that wider, 'legal' would have utilized. Milieu's are not lateral designed drawers. But, what the heck...they're awesome!"

"The cabinet looks great from a distance, up close not fine work, but the drawer mechanism is nice and it's a stylish, functional piece. Furniture quality, not just utilitarian and that's what I was looking for. See image of upper, left corner that shows a poorly done wood putty job and minor cracks in the black lacquer finish at the trim joints. So, for the price, I would have expected better attention to detail, that's all."

"I ordered the cabinet in red because it fits in with the other furniture, but both have the same beautiful design. It looks much more expensive, and the hand-painting is perfect. It has good, strong construction and I've received numerous compliments on it. I only wish I had more room so that I could order the larger sizes. You definitely will love this cabinet!"

"I had previously bought the four-drawer version of this file cabinet and was very pleased. It works well and is a lovely asset to my living space. I needed more storage, so I ordered 2 two-drawer cabinets and got a 1/2 inch piece of glass across the tops, so it became a credenza. It has received many compliments.
The order arrived 2 days after I placed it! It is packed well and came fully assembled. (The local pack-and-ship store was very happy to receive the styrofoam I took them.)"

"I read all the reviews and felt this one fit me best. I also liked that it had a design and will add a little charater vs the usual boring office cabinets. The actual cabinet is lovely, never sure how the picture will translate. It arrived undamaged, thank you UPS! It was assembled which was fantastic and ready to use. It has been a lovely addition to my home office. I would consider purchasing the two drawer version in the future when I have a need or more space."
