"The rug looks very nice under our dining room table. I have wedgewood blue valances and pleated shades. The blue in the rug is lighter than that, but still coordinates with it. My walls are a light yellow which also matches with the muted yellow in the rug. I have maroon colors in the living room and the rug also has the maroon color in it. Carpet threads do appear and need to be cut. Our cat LOVED to claw this rug, unfortunately, and we had to spray her multiple times with water to keep her off. She walks around it now."

"I called Home Decorators Collection to ask about returning this item. After viewing it in my home, it does not have the affect I wanted. Whoever I spoke with was going to send out a plastic sleeve so I could return it to Sasavieh for refund. I have yet to receive the sleeve.
Nothing is wrong with the rug, just doesn't do in my room."

"This rug is very nice. The colors are less vivid than what's shown on the computer, however I expected this based on the online reviews. It does have a very strong "chemical" odor when it first arrives, but this was gone within a day or so. For some reason it still hasn't streched out completely yet and there are some raised corners despite being flat and in place for over a month now. Very soft to the touch and there was no shedding at all. I would definitely buy this again. It's very pretty."

"Just got them today - very fast shipping (and FREE shipping). Got them 20% off and they are nice quality and look great in our back hall. They need to flatten a bit but am expecting that to happen in a day or so. I would recommend them. They are as pictured."

"I purchased this rug in Black and it is absolutely beautiful. The Black is bordered by a Creamy Taupe outlined by a Light Camel color with touches of Rust, Brown, Light Olive Green and a tiny bit of gray. It is thick and rich looking. A great buy for the price. I've shopped all over town and the internet. Home Decorators has the best selection and overall pricing."

"I received this rug about 3 weeks ago. I purchased the blue color. It's a beautiful rug, feels great and looks wonderful in the room. It does shed some and needs to be vacuumed often, but I think only because it is new. I would recommend this product."

"Lovely rug soft muted colors, not as pictured! Much more grey than blue as mentioned in other reviews Why didn't I believe them?
Didn't return as bought the small before the 8 x 10 and it it wil find use somewhere, but glad I didn't order the big one first."

Finally Found a Rug!

"When I bought a large dark brown sectional for my yellow family room, it just "pulled" the room down. I've been looking for a year for a rug that would counter the heaviness of the sofa. After sending back two rugs that just didn't "work" in the room, I am so happy with the Wessex. The rug came within a week of ordering! The color is a light grayish blue, which is exactly what works in this room. The pattern is organic, but doesn't come across as too busy. The rug is thick and plush, but doesn't interfere with the reclining feature on the sofa. I'm pleasantly surprised that it hasn't been shedding all that much. In short, I love this rug, and am so happy with it. Thank you Home Decorators!"

"This rug looked great until I vacuumed it with my new Hoover Windtunnel. The ends of the loops came loose and I have raw fibers sticking out of it in places."
