A dissapointment

"I have ordered several pieces of the RTA mission furniture and have been generally satisfied. This new addition to he line is a definite decrease in quality. It appears that a different manufacturer/factory is being used, and this is not a good thing in this case. The finish, although called by the same name as the rest of my pieces, is much darker than them. The fasteners provided are of lesser quality than the ones provided in my previous pieces; the cam/peg locks are made of a very soft grade of metal and strip out easily. I had some left over from the other pieces and was able to compare them. The dowels provided are too large for the holes they are meant for, necessitating a trip to the hardware store for the appropriate size dowels (you need 5/16, not 3/8). No glue was provided for them, either. Glue had been provided for the previous pieces. Installing the casters was difficult. Once I had it together, it is fine for what I use it for, but I probably won't buy anything from this line again."

Exactly What We Were Looking For

"We shopped at several local furniture stores for a laptop computer desk, with no luck. Since we live in a condo, we needed something that would fit in a small bedroom. "I am very pleased with my computer cart. I am using it in my kitchen and it matches very well with the cabinets and other kitchen decor. I ordered the 24" table because I use a lap top as a computer and the table is a perfect fit for the room and my computer needs such as household bill processing, etc."
