"I moved to a new place and decided to furnish from scratch. This lamp began the style. I bought the single lamp version and I love it. The ambience is perfect and it's the first thing people compliment when they walk into my living room. A 60W bulb will do just fine, even though it says 100W is recommended."

"Seems to be well made, solidly constructed. The glass shade is not as elegant as I would've liked. Contrast is painted on and the glass quite thick. The lines of the lamp structure are very appealing. The size is a bit overpowering for a small table"

"I purchased this lamp and all the others in the Wright Collection. Love them. They are beautiful and fit in wonderfully w/ my decor. Lamp is heavier than it looks but its good and sturdy that way. The cord is clear so its easy to conceal."

"We bought the single-bulb lamps for two desks where we needed more room than we were getting from standard table lamps. They put out a lot of light, nicely diffused by the glass shades, and take up very little space. they are also extremely nice looking and go wonderfully with our handmade mission-style cherry office furniture."

"I bought two to go in my bedroom. They look great and my husband likes them too. There's only one negative that I'm still getting used to. The shade is a dark amber and the light faces downward. Both of these elements give off a different light in our bedroom than I'm use to. Overall we're very happy with our purchase."

"I'm using this lamp on my desk and really like it. The shade is large enough to hold a CFL bulb. The only assembly is to attach the shade and screw in a light bulb. The one disappointment I have is that the switch for the lamp is on the power cord, rather than somewhere on the lamp itself. So I have to loop the cord around the base to keep the switch in reach."

"We have a sort of laid-back Asian-lounge feeling to our living room decor and this lamp fit right in. We paired it with a plug-in sconce on an opposite wall from a different website. It wasn't hard to match the finish or the amber tinting of the shades at all.
We prefer 40 watt bulbs in it but it provides ample light to fill the space with 60 watt bulbs. Overall we are very satisfied with the purchase, the quality, and expedient delivery. I like that it has two lamp shades...it strays away from the standard table lamp look.
I "comparison shop" on homedecorators.com all the time but this was my first actual purchase and I am very pleased!"
