"With as little we paid for this cabinet, compared to other options, I was pleasantly surprised at how well this cabinet was engineered and how solidly it was designed and built. All the hardware fit perfectly; the drawers worked well, and the glass door fit and worked well. The bonus was how GOOD it looked in our bedroom next to my maple "Gentlemans Chest". We are very pleased!"

"Assembly was a little difficult, It took 2 of us about 3 hours to do. Some of the parts were mis-labelled in the instructions, and the glue bottle did not function as it was supposed to. Overall it is a sturdy and rich looking cabinet. I would definitely recommend it."

"I did a lot of research before buying this cabinet for my home theather equipment. It is a nice, sturdy piece and my components fit well on the shelves with ample room in the drawers for DVDs. During assembly, it was missing one small screw, but otherwise the cabinet was fairly easy for two of us to put together in 1 1/2 hours."

"I bought this in the merlot finish, and it's a beautiful, rich red. Overall, I love it, but two things bother me. The drawers are not tall enough to put CD cases with the spine up -- they have to lay flat, making it more difficult to locate what I want. The difference is only a fraction of an inch, which makes this even more frustrating. The other thing is the cord management provisions. There's only one hole near the bottom of the shelf area, and the space behind the shelves to run the cords was very tight. I had to tilt the shelf with the component on it in order to get the cord end through it to the access hole. I'm grateful I won't need to do that again for a very long time.
I assembled it myself, and found it pretty easy, altho there's one point when it's necessary to have another set of hands to support the glass door while you attach it. Now that it's together, the unit looks great and I'm very happy with it."
