"Shipping was fast, had read other reviews saying it was slow, I believe mine came within a week. I have ordered other products from Home Decorators and have been overall very satisfied. I looked at Wal-Mart, Target, etc online and couldn't find anything I was in love with. I like the concept of the towel bar. I didn't need a ton of storage, just mainly some decoration to break up the plain bathroom in my rental townhouse. The two drawers are good sized and the shelves are tall enough for a large mouthwash bottle. Not as deep as I would have liked, but it gets the job done. I agree with other posts that the hanging system leaves something to be desired. I used two "Monkey Hooks" and they worked really well, just need to be very accurate in your measurements. Overall, very satisfied with the product!"

Great Cabinet, but caution on securing to wall

"Great product, nice design and very attractive. It will be probably be the focal piece of attention in your bathroom. As for construction it went seamlessly except for the placement of the hinges on the door which were a bit confusing at first. Once it's all done it looks very nice and is heavier in weight than it appears. Which brings me to my only criticism which mirrors others, in that the method of hanging it is not at all sufficient for the size and weight of the cabinet. If you are attempting to use just the two provided hangers on the back and the provided wall anchors going into sheetrock, you are courting disaster. They really should redesign the hangers to spacially line up to anchor into the wood joists in the wall. If they also added two more supports at the bottom of the cabinet to screw in, they will have a perfect product.
All in all, I recommend it, just keep in mind that you will have to seek alternative methods to secure it confidently to the wall."

"I needed a small cabinet in my bedroom for note paper, greeting cards and other small stationary. The place for which I intended it was limited,this cabinet was just right -it was well made, sturdy, and fitted well into the space. I found the price of shipping, plus the tax, which I normally donot have to pay on mail order goods, off putting. And if I donot make another purchase from Home Decorators, it would be for this reason."

"The Amanda Wall Cabinet w/ Towel Bar was moderately easy to put together. The parts fit, and the cabinet looks good on the wall in my bathroom. In my opinion it took an inordinately long time to ship and be delivered. However, it was worth the wait. The cabinet is well built, the finish is excellent, and it has conveniences such as the door closing magnet, and drawer dowels to keep drawers from coming out in your hand.

"Received Amanda wall cabinet with the towel bar, wasn't hard to put together and looks great, but when ordered the color discription isn't right it says dark brown, but its not, its a dark cherry color and the inside back panel is like a walnut color two different colors altogether?? But we liked the color on the outside of cabinet and it looks rich and built good. For the price we decided to keep it and redue the sink cabient to match. Just need to watch the color discription more on products."

"This is definately a manly product. I did put it together with a few mistakes and redo's, but it looks like it does in the picture. The cabinet is really heavy. I don't know how I'm going to get it hung on my wall. So nice product, but I need a handyman to hang it."

"I saw the Amanda cabinet on the Home Depot site and LOVED it! Nothing else even came close. The thing was, I was looking for a white cabinet with the exact features of the Amanda cabinet. White is what my new vanity and my existing linen cabinet were in.
I did a web search and found Home Decorators. Still no white. I sent the link to my friend, who also loved the cabinet she pointed out that with the Black Granite counter top on my vanity the dark brown would be a nice contrast with what I had planned.
I fell in love with this cabinet because it didn't look like everything else out on the market, it has a hidden self two drawers and a towel rack! That's a LOT of storage and it's not even taking up floor space!!! Woot! Bonus!"

"I have yet to put the unit up in my bathroom but I put it together today in preparation for my bathroom remodel that will begin soon. This piece is very nice for the price. I read the specifications but it didn't really sink in as to how big this cabinet was until I was putting it together. I am very pleased with the size. Bigger is better when it comes to storage spaces in tiny places. It seems like it is going to be a great space saver since it's off the floor and an extremely functional piece. The shelf is adjustable. The drawers are deep but don't go back very far being that the unit is only 8" wide. The directions suggested 2 people put it together but I did all by myself with no problems... only a little confusion with the door hinges but that was totally me not the instructions ;o). The instructions were very clear. The assembly took me approximately 2 hr and 15 minutes with a battery operated screwdriver. I really like the cam locking mechanisms. They seem like their going to hold tight very well. My pre-drilled holes and door knobs lined up perfectly. My only negatives are: the doors are not a snug fit-- there are gaps around the doors but it's not that bad; I wish the drawers were rollers tracks instead of wood guided tracks... I rubbed a little wax (soap) in the wood groove and it helped the drawers glide a little smoother. All in all, it is a good buy and I think it will get much use in my new bathroom and will be able to withstand it.
I think I will be getting the 2 door Amanda Collection credenza soon.
I am a very statisfied customer!"
