"This rug is beautiful and soft, although it does shed a bit. I use this for photographing babies in my photography business and it sheds a bit and hair tends to get stuck to clothing. Other than that, it's perfect for what I need it for."

"The rug is definitely thin and light , but looks great when down. It has a sexy cozy look. I bought it in white and it is a true white. To clean it I used the extention on my vacuum and it worked great. Does not seem to be shedding. It is a great rug for the money especially if you want that chic look at a super low cost."

"We needed a rug to go under our light cherry contemporary dining room table. I wanted a neutral color, but texture to warm up the space. This rug is perfect to go under the table, good quality, and you can't beat the price. It's actually super soft and plush, and my cats were rolling around on it. Plus, it's difficult to find 8 foot round rugs (or round rugs at all) so Home Decorators has a plethora of great options. Shipping was easy, it arrived quickly and customer service was great. Already recommended to a friend! (As a side note, not sure about the shedding of the rug as it's not a high-traffic area.)"

"I have the small 2' x 3' hot pink rug on the side of my bed. It's very pretty and fluffy. No shedding during the past two months that I've used it. Feels real nice on the feet. However, it can trip you up.
I also ordered the same size rug in white but it was continuously being back-ordered so I canceled the order. Four months is way too long to wait for an item."

"I ordered this rug it came wrapped very well and looked wonderful. The color looked a little off. I really wanted hot pink. I guess that was the closest to hot pink they could get. over all i just got other things that same color to go with the rug. I LOVE THIS RUG so i ordered another one : )"

"I was looking for a light colored area rug for my newly redone living room, and this rug exceeded my expectations. It was a great value and looks great. "I bought this rug for my tween's new bedroom. So cute. It is the perfect color, super soft and just cheap enough that i won't be heartbroken if she destroys it in a few years. The dog often sleeps in it and you really can't even see the dog hairs in the shag. We have had it now for three months and it looks great so far."

"Rug is surprisingly light weight (4x6 purchased), which is a plus when you have to move it. But, my review won't be so much on how it was when it arrived, but how it is now a month later, and what it requires to keep it looking nice.
This rug WILL mat up from putting your feet on it for long periods of time, and sitting on it, because you love it's fuzziness. It WILL gather and almost hold onto for dear life, little bits of things. It will go from looking like a fluffy pile of softness to looking like faux monster fur.
Shaking the life out of this rug to get things out of it, doesn't always get everything out of it.. DO NOT VACUUM this rug, you WILL ruin it. The spinning brush in the vacuum does not so pretty things to a faux sheepskin rug, or even a real one.
To maintain its nice fluffy look, you must brush it with a dog slicker brush, and it must be a slicker brush for undercoats. This is A LOT of hard work, so prepare for tired and sore arms, especially if you're really particular in the rug looking fabulous instead of just "good".
It WILL shed, you won't have much or any at first.. and if you have hardwood floors you may not notice the shedding.. as breezes from movement toss the little fluff bunnies out of view. However, I have carpeting, and it was covered in little fluff bunnies and balled up fuzz in about a weeks time. A slicker brush helps to pull out quite a bit of the lose fibers.. and it will be A LOT..
I put quality as a con just due to the amount of shedding that comes from proper maintenance of a faux sheepskin rug.. I have had others that did not shed half as much as this one when doing upkeep.
Is it a terrible rug? No, not at all, I like it, and I'll probably get another one at some point for my son's room. But, it's not the best rug on earth either. But, you can't beat the price, so I would recommend it to friends who were looking for contemporary style without having to have a Donald Trump budget. (~_^)"

"This rug was selected for our sons nursery in the beige tone. I was blown away by the quality and durability of this rug. Shedding is minimal to none. * I have vacuumed it twice now and very little hair is in the pick up bin. I use a Dyson. I heavily recommend purchasing the premium rug pad to go under this and not the standard for the extra padding.
Overall, very happy with this purchase!"
