"The rug i just ordered and received was ture to its picutre . Very lovely . I just woud suggest that in the description you should put exactly what colors are in the rugs. I guessed at what i thought it looked like and was lucky that it was close to what i had thought. BUT in the future if you were to say exactly what colors are in these rugs that would probably help with people having to return an item such as the rugs.."

Pretty, but...

"I bought the beige 8'x11' rug. I have no qualms about the design or colors of the rug; it looks pretty good in our family room. However, the rug arrived with tiny black spots all over it. I suspect they'll disappear with a cleaning, so we didn't return it based on that. Also, this rug sheds like nothing I've ever seen. Our floors are dark wood so the lint is very visible. The first vacuuming filled our (mostly empty) vacuum cleaner. It's been vacuumed at least 4 times since then and it still hasn't stopped shedding like crazy."

"We purchased the brown and tan rug for our living room, which is all tile floor. It goes beautifully with the floor and furniture, which is brown and tan. It has been shedding for the first week or so, but it's not horrendous and vacuums easily. It's a dense weave and soft underfoot. It looks very much like the photo."

"I've never purchased a rug on line before and after reading the reviews here I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.. I REALLY wanted to love this rug. I bought the terra cotta color in the 5'x8' because I wanted the warm golds and earthy reds in my entry way. The photo is MUCH prettier than the real rug. Part of the problem is that the rug is cut from the largest size and the pattern looks all wrong in the smaller size. But the biggest disappointment is that the colors are very flat and two dimensional, no pretty shading and depth like in the photo. Just reddish brown and tan, that's it. Quality seems okay. Will be returning :("

"I bought this rug a year ago and I too was surprised when I saw the gold leaf outline. What I noticed this morning is that in artificial light it does look cream. When the sun light provides more light than your indoor lighting the gold becomes prominant. As stated previously the accent color is more of a soft green than blue...which is exactly what I wanted. It is thick, plush, and has held up well under the kitchen table. Initially there was some fuzzing but it did not last terribly long. I am considering buying another one for another room."

"I purchased this rug in the brown/blue. The picture on the internet and in the catalog IS NOT what the rug looks like at all. Beautiful aqua leaves on a 2 shade brown leaf background like pictured would be beautiful, but.......to the left of the aqua leaves are outlines of a thick mustard-yellow on the remaining brown background leaves. Why did you ruin what could have been such a beautiful rug? Needless to say, I am returning it. I do want to say Thank you to Home Decorators for being so accomadating."

"The rug is high quality with dense fibers. It is soft on you feet and rich in color. The colors are somewhat as pictured but the blue is more muted and more greenish, gray blue. There is gold that outline the leaves but does not take away from its richness."

"The darker color looked like it may have a touch of apricot in it but really there is a cream and chocolate color in this rug. Luckily it matches my living room perfectly. It's thick and doesn't move around which is good but it does tend to fray already at the edges. There should've been a border around it. Overall I'm happy with it, I just hope it lasts with our family trampling on it for years to come."

"We bought the round shape in brown for our little dining area.My only complaint about the appearance is that in the picture, the floral outline looks cream or very pale yellow, but it is actually more of a dark golden color (I don't mean this it be a negative reference, but think spicy brown mustard). Although the other accents in the room, such as the chair covers, are cream because that's what I expected, this rug is next to a room that features some yellow accents, so I think it pulls it nicely together! Just be aware of the color difference in the picture if you think it will bother you... I also agree with other reviewers that it's basically just cut out of of the pattern rather than being scaled for the size and shape, but it still looks beautiful. It's also super soft! We've received several compliments already."
