"This is a great piece of furniture and adds
an interesting look to your decor for visitors to admire. Very very easy to put together. Regarding odor mentioned in previous reviews; it's the finish. Just leave the drawers slightly ajar near a window and the odor will disappear in short order. I like the design & overall workmanship . Takes more files than I thought it would. Great purchase!"

"You must understand that I am always looking for unique items- things that are not what they appear to be. So, when I saw what looked like a side table and realized it was a file cabinet, I thought that was the perfect solution to the"ugly file cabinet" syndrome. And it is! My husband just completed building beautiful bookcases with a desk between them for my computer, I purchased a leather chair and the "file cabinet" will hold a new lamp and handle all the necessary paperwork that I don't want around. It is a perfect, size is good, workmanship is acceptable, so my needs have been met. And HE can tolerate it, so all is well. Had to wait forever for its arrival, but that gave us more time to complete the room."

"The file cabinet is interesting and unusual. At our law office we use it as a piece of decor rather than as a full-functioning file cabinet. The shelves are too small for many files. But, we do use it to place small hanging files for new client info and documents to be filed. It does have some utility, but don't expect it to replace you Hon metal file cabinets. But, it is a fun piece of decor."

"Even though this piece isn't for everyones taste, I wanted something different/unique for a bedside table, and I am really happy with my choice. The "leather" isn't quite what I expected, and my only hope is that it is durable enough to last for years. I would suggest to anyone to consider. The only assembly was screwing in the bun feet (super easy)."

"Great looking file cabinet. Nothing to put together. Workmanship on the inside, a little cheesy. Not top grain wood and smells a little funny. Also, don't like the fact that there is no lock. However, everyone comes to my house and loves it."
