"For looks, this chair gets a great rating. It's really cute. But sit in it, and you'll find the problem. The back is too short, so you have to hold yourself up if you want to lean back. Then again, if you have great posture and never want to lean back, you may like it better than I did."

"The computer chair is great! With the low back, it makes you sit up straight. It was so simple to put together and my grandchildren said "it's awesome." I love the chrome at the bottom and with the casters you can take it in any room to use. It really is a great chair for kids and grandmas like myself. It's well worth the money and looks "totally awesome.""

"I loved this desk chair because it is located in a small den/guest bedroom and the chair when placed in its lowest position fits nicely under the desk and out of the way. It is comfortable, easy to adjust and very steady. I am delighted."

"In many respects, this chair is great--great color (just as shown) and style. Perfect for my 12-year-old daughter's bedroom. The one problem is that there is a glaring white zipper that runs down the length of the back of the chair, which rather ruins the look of it from the back (and given that it is a desk chair, the back shows). The zipper seems to serve no purpose, as it cannot be unzipped. And the fabric on either side of it does not stretch across it, so it cannot be sewn shut. other than that, the chair is adorable."

"This is one of the best looking chairs I've seen around. Unfortunately, that's where its virtues ended for me. When my chair arrived, it had a couple of manufacturing defects: 1) Three sections of the chrome legs had a shoddy finish (scratches and dents); 2) The upper half of the zipper in the seat back was exposed AND stitched crooked (and no, you can't simply slip the cover off, since the zipper and cover are stapled to the seat bottom!).
Home Decorators responded to my complaint very quickly. I'd consider an exchange if I could go to a store and see the actual piece (the closest store is 1.5 hours away). But I needed a chair ASAP, and didn't want to risk getting disappointed a second time, so I returned the package for a refund.
Hopefully this was just an isolated case, but I thought you should know what I experienced with this otherwise good-looking chair."

"I made a mistake purchasing this chair. It is extremely uncomfortable to sit in, and the casters are cheap. The appearance in person is much different than it looks in the catalog or online. I am 5'4" and the back of this chair only comes to my waist (small of my back). It is advertised as an office chair, but it is not comfortable to sit in for more than ten minutes because it hurts the back of your thighs. I would not recommend purchasing this chair and I am returning it immediately. I will waste quite a bit on shipping charges, but this chair is not usable."
