Great Drying Rack

"I have owned this drying rack for 6 months now. It's still in perfect condition and I use it several times a week for drying jeans, dance outfits, towels, etc...
My only issue about this drying rack is that I wish it came in more colors. I guess I could paint it in the future to fit my decor more.
This is a great way to dry items in a laundry room, bathroom, or mudroom while taking up minimal space."

"very happy with this purchase. I did purchase a hanger instead of using the key hole, but no big deal. Looks great in the laundry room! Will get lots of use with towels and bathing suits."

"I love this drying rack for the functionality and appearance. The only reason that I didn't give this 5 stars is because the mounting is not strong enough. We followed the instructions to the T and it fell of our wall. The mounting literally pulled out of the back of the unit on one side! Thankfully it was hanging on by the other screw and the entire thing didn't come crashing down! We were able to fix it, and HD customer service was great on the issue offering us a credit towards a future purchase, but I highly suggest beefing up the mounting (as others have suggested)."

"This laundry rack is going in a small laundry room, behind a door. Just fits at 2.5 inches deep. Wanted a cherry stain color, but only avail in white. So I painted it a reddish brown base color and then glazed darker brown over it to look like wood grain. Came out great!"

"The rack is very well designed, beautifly made. Love it! My only problem was that I purchased it to go with Martha Stewart laundry collection and the color was really bright white when next to the cabintes. Had it painted off white and noe it is perfect."

Wonderful Addition to Laundry Room

"This is my favorite purchase we've made for remodeling our laundry room. Not only is it functional but it is gorgeous. It is very well made and sturdy so the quality is outstanding. However, given the weight, I didn't trust the hardware that came with it so we opted to use stronger anchors and screws just to be safe. We have received many compliments on this piece- I mean how many people immediately notice a drying rack? To me that speaks volumes to its uniqueness and beauty. I highly recommend it and am confident the quality will last for many years to come."

"We love the look of our new drying rack in the laundry room. It freed up much needed floor space replacing our floor model, and it looks great mounted on the wall. The only negative I have is the width of the rungs. Our sweater/t-shirts are unable to lay out fully. It did have an odour as others have stated but odour gone in 2 days. My husband installed it on his own easily, did purchase steel plugs for wall."

"We have been looking for a product like this for our laundry room. It fits tight against the wall and installs with 2 screws. The brackets did not match up with the studs in our house, but utilized a heavier (80 pound) anchor than was provided to ensure it was stable."

Wall Mounted Drying Rack Best part of new Laundry

"I have been using this product for about 9 months. I still just LOVE it! We did follow the recommendations of the previous reviewers and put more substantial mounting when we put it up. We ended up with about a dozen screws into the studs to make sure it was sturdy. Our laundry isn't extremely heavy so I cannot comment on that, but I dry all my sweats and sweatshirts - straight from the washer and onto hangers that hang from this drying rack. It's delightful! The rack folds against the wall when not in use and really doesn't take much floor space even when it's open and has clothes drying on it. The price is more than I originally wanted to pay; but since it's working out so well, I'm glad I went ahead and bought it."

Nice but hard to mount on wall

"Nicely made and well finished, with quality materials. But the way it is meant to be mounted to the wall is poorly thought out. Wall studs are on 16 inch centers, but the mounting points on this heavy piece are not 16 inches apart making it impossible to hit a stud with one of the mounting points. (The piece is too heavy simply to be screwed into wallboard.) Instead, we had to screw a piece of wood to the wall then mount it on that piece of wood, so now, it sticks out from the wall instead of being flush mounted."

"This ia a very sturdy product. We did, as others have stated, used stronger screws when installing this laundry rack. The only con is that there is a very strong chemical smell coming from the paint or sealer on this item, which lingered for a few weeks. Even so,it is a very nice looking accessory."

"My laundry room is very narrow and I found myself having to hang items that didn't go in the dryer on chairs in the kitchen. I've been looking for a clothes dryer that would work in the laundry and found this perfect. It''s size makes it easy for me to hang everything I need to day with space to spare. This is not just for towels."

"I appreciate that HDC's site worked well, and the product was shipped quickly and safely.
I like the basic quality and look of the drying rack, but 2 things bothered us a little.
It smelled strongly of drying paint when opened, and took several weeks before it dissipated.
Plus, it is quite heavy, and my husband and I were not comfortable just hanging it on the sheet rock with the 2 anchor screws included. Instead, we got longer, stronger screws and screwed it into the studs of our walls in 4 places.
We were certainly not bothered enough to return it. We are satisfied enough and made it work for us."

"Very pleased with this drying rack. Workmanship is exceptional. Product was on back order, but well worth the wait (arriving sooner than promised). The only room for improvement would be to include more substantial mounting hardware - I didn't trust the basic drywall anchors and substituted with toggle bolts."
