"This rug was a perfect accent to my new furniture. I bought the rust in the small round size. It really enhances look and feel of the furniture. Only regret it doesn't come in a larger round size. Other than that, it's perfect!"

"I have ordered a lot of stuff online and ended up being disappointed that the color was off, fabric not like I expected, etc. This rug is perfect! It's exactly the same color as stated (and shown) online. I got an 8ft round lime green. The fabric is thick and doesn't shed. It is great and I get a lot of compliments on the unique color. It was also delivered in less than 2 weeks!"

"I probably shopped for rugs of similar size, texture and color for a month and checked out over 20 different options. For the price and quality, this was the best option. My only caveat is that the orange is more blood orange and louder than expected. It works for us but may not be for everyone."

"This rug is not your typical fuzzy shag rug. Its almost like taking a shag rug and giving it tight little braids. Just like with hair braids, you can see the rug's scalp! I did not like this look. The red is a very pretty vibrant red, but the quality was not good. I will be returning it."

"I read the reviews before buying and they were mixed. Seemed like people loved it or it was completely not what they expected. So that left me wondering if I would be happy. I went for it and one of the reasons was because a few people said even though it is a shag rug - it goes not get mashed down and this turned out to be very much true. My other shags always have to be shaken out, but this one stays standing up even with traffic over it. The color was excellent and it does have a shimmer to it which perfectly matched another rug in the same room. I am more than happy with this rug."

"I purchased this rug in the gold color. I like the rug a lot in gold but can see why there are reviews that are not so good when it is ordered in white. The "shag" is woven through a canvas type fabric which is tan in color. This goes well with the gold tone of the shag but if it's the same color of canvas for white, then you will see the tan color underneath the white shag looking not so attractive. For my rug, my cat loves to pull the shag out of the rug. It is an excellent cat toy and it looks pretty good too."

"Vivid red--exactly the color I wanted. Well-made, looks like picture, but . . . not soft and comfortable to my feet. I bought this to put under my desk which sits on a tile floor. I wanted it to keep my feet (bare) cozy and warm. The shag fiber feels stiff and doesn't have any softness or "give". It's not what I had in mind at all, so I am disappointed. Not all is lost, though, I can still use it, just not where I really really wanted it."

"This rug is extremely poor quality. You can see the entire back support of the rug through the individual piles. I am surprised that HCD would sell something this poor in value. A closeup of the rug piles would certainly persuade customers to choose another rug over this one."

"Based on the previous customer photo and the photo in the catalog, I think they have switched out the rug and forgot to change it in the catalog.
My rug had a loose, stringy pile of what could best be described as satin cording. Not even close to the picture. It might work in a really modern house as a focal point.
However, customer service was really great about returning it. That is rare these days, and I will look at HD first when buying products for my home from now on."
