"I returned this item because it is not represented well in the catalogue or on the internet. The details are more prominent and the color is cocoa and gray which did not work with my decor. Lovely construction and great value. Sorry it did not work for me. Excellent customer support."

"Hi, I bought the silver blue rug in a very large size. The colors were not quite as expected so I ended up using it in a different spot in the house rather than going through the trouble to return it. (although Home Decorators was very accommodating and would have made returning as easy as possible). I expected blues and grays mainly. the rug is a pale, silvery blue but the interior designs are green & rust and the trim is a tan. Delivery was quick.
At first the rug produced a lot of lint balls but that seems to have stopped after the 2nd vacuuming. Rug is soft and lovely to rest your feet on."

"I'm keeping the rug, but mostly because I'm too lazy to return it. The colors were darker than expected and the runner has a border around it which is much more noticeable than the photo depicts. Probably should've ordered the lighter color. I haven't had good luck in ordering rugs from HD in the past either. Probably my last rug purchase with them."

"We needed a neutral rug to go with new furniture. We also did not want to spend thousands on a carpet (we have kids and a dog). This rug fit the bill. It's a little more golden hued than I would've liked but it's fine and I think will hide dirt well.
I can't really speak to the quality of the rug standing the test of time. We've only had it a couple of weeks but I have to say we're very satisfied. The pile feels dense enough for the kids to sit comfortably on the floor while playing or watching tv. I think it's a good value."

"I searched and searched for a rug to fit my living room space for months online. I finally decided to go with the Grimsby rug in the gold color. The rug has a very easy to look at design not to busy. The color is less gold then in the picture. The outter edges of the rug has a dark brown boarder. I think for the price I paid the size is great! the only two negatives was first I orderd it the week before Thanksgiving and UPS takes that Thus, Fri, and Saturday off, I couldn't belive it! So I got it a bit late. Also I was really looking for a thin pile rug, this is very thick, some people may like thick rugs but I perfer the thinner the better. It is nice that it does not stide arround on the floor. You do not need a pad under it, hope this helps you..."

"This is a nice neutral rug, which butts up to busier patterns nicely. I have wide wood floor/hallways and 2 big dogs, so this rug looks a bit skimpy, and doesn't give me the protection/coverage that i need. I will probably order the longer runner, to get the wider width. I've ordered several rugs from Home Decorator's and have always been pleased."

"I was very nervous about ordering a huge rug online. I did tons of research and spent hours looking in stores at rugs but couldn't find one for the price I was willing to pay. This rug is thick, soft, heavy and looks great! It is very neutral without being too floral. Don't let the "gold" color scare you. It is really more tan, light brown sugar color with beige, chocolate and copper accent colors. Most other rugs i saw that compare to this one were in the thousand dollar range. I couldn't be happier."

"The rug is perfect for where I put it, both size and color. I was apprehensive about ordering this one because of the reviews about the color being off, but I am very pleased, it is exactly as described! The rug is thick and soft, very comfy under foot. Delivery was quick too! As soon as my runner needs to be replaced I plan to order it in this style and color too. Very happy with the purchase."

"I purchased 3 Grimsby carpets from Home Decorators (3 different sizes - same color/pattern. Carpets were well represented on website, color was true, and customer comments extremely helpful and good quality for the price.
Rugs shipped on different dates, and I was kept informed via email when rugs shipped. Charges were not added to my Visa until rugs shipped. I would definitely purchase from this online source again!"
