"I purchased these as keepsake boxes. The look is very nice, but there were several nails coming through the leather and one of the handles was loose. Definitely needs some craftsman work."

"when i first saw the pic of the trunks, i fell in love with them. they look adorable sitting side by side like father like son or like mother like daughter. the price is a bit over my budget. when i receive the trunks, they sure look as nice as the pic as i have imagined. i say, go buy them for yourself. you will be satisfied."

"I ordered these trunks for my bedroom and they are beautiful. Also, these trunks are lighter in person and they don't look quite the same as they do on the website, but are still beautiful, so I kept them... Again, these trunks are over priced for the quality. I will shop around more for accent items before purchasing items from home decorators in the future because of this."

"I bought these trunks figuring I'd keep the small one for myself and give the other as a gift. But I'm so impressed with their quality, now I'm thinking I want to keep both. They're beautiful. I read the reviews before making my purchase, so I was already aware of the plastic handles. I agree that it's too bad they aren't made of a more worthy material, but they don't look bad at all. Considering the quality and durability of the trunks, in general, you can't beat the price."

"The chest itself is nicely done and looks authentic but unfortunately they topped it off with a plastic handle which doesn't look good. If it is set in a spot where it is not at eye level, it wil serve as a beautiful accent piece. Or perhaps lift the top and have greens hanging out so the handle isn't even seen. Nevertheless, a great value."

"I purchased these to use as accent pieces in the family room. I have one in our entertainment center and one in the lower part of a console table. They look great. It is hard to tell how large they are just by looking at the picture, so make sure you look at the dimensions before purchasing. I am very happy with this item and found it to be much cheaper than similar products elsewhere."
