"I've looked all over for canister sets and this was the nicest one I found! The only problem with this set is that the canisters are very small...much smaller than I was hoping for. You wouldn't be able to fit much in them. They are more decorative than useful. I found them a bit pricey to not be able to put them to better use. Even though beautiful to look at, I returned them."

"Openings in cannisters are too small. It is difficult
to scoop out portions

The knobs on top come off too easily. The screws are stripped and cant be secured

"Believe the reviews that say they are small!!! I read the previous reviews about them being small, so I didn't expect them to be huge, but I really didn't expect them to be quite that tiny! The LARGEST one holds 3-1/2 cups. (I measured). As others have said... they are great for decorative purposes, but not functional. 50 tea bags are a tight fit and reaching to the bottom of the container is impossible due to the size of the opening. They look very nice on my counter and I will keep them. But in hindsight, I wish I had spent the price (that scared me away) for the very large ones elsewhere."

"Overall they were pretty much what I expected. Very cute and small as other buyers had stated. My kitchen is maroon not red but the color would really go with either so that wasn't a problem. The small size makes them look a bit lost on the huge counter top. They would look more to scale on a small decorative shelf. My two complaints are first they mailed me two of the same one. So I had two that said "sugar". It took about 3 weeks to get the replacement in the mail. Also, two of the three labels were glued on crooked. It drives me nuts when I look at them. They're cute and serve the purpose, but don't expect perfection."

"I LOVE THE COLOR, FINISH AND DESIGN OF THESE CANISTERS. I WAS, HOWEVER, DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY WERE SO SMALL. THE LARGEST, THE SUGAR JAR, HOLDS LESS THAN 1/3 OF A 5 LB. BAG OF SUGAR. ALSO, I WOULD HAVE LIKED THE OPTION OF ORDERING A LARGER CONTAINER FOR FLOUR OR COOKIES. OVERALL A VERY NICE LOOK, BUT NOT PRACTICAL FOR EVERYDAY USE. ****"

"Although small as others have reported, these canisters are a good set. I have another/different set so this supplements that. If you cook alot and run to the flour/sugar bowl regularly, this product probably isn't for you since theyr'e small and do not hold a big supply."

"I couldn't find anything that looks like these canisters anywhere. They are beautiful from the square shape to the rustic trim. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. If you are not really using them and they are only for decoration, I would highly recommend them. The openings are so small that it's impossible to get in and out of them easily. Even the largest one which is labled for sugar can only fit a tablespoon into it. Getting to the bottom to reach in any of them requires a child size hand."

"I loved the color and the styling. However, the canisters were much smaller than they looked in the catalog. They would not be very functional as canisters but they look good as decorations on my counter. The quality of detailing is average to a little above average."

"I really think this was a cute decorating product, but not good for storage. The canisters were a bit small for everyday storage use and pricey for the size. I really like the color and apperance of them in my kitchen anyways."
