"I have admired this rug for some time and looked forward to seeing it in person. The red of the background is not a true red. It is really more of a rust color. The other colors are very muted so the rug doesn't have the visual pop that the photo suggests.
The cost to send this back is nearly a quarter of the cost to buy it, so I will use it in a guest room or back hall. It is a bland, lifeless appearing rug. I doubt that I will buy again from this site. I would suggest that the ability to return purchases to the nearest Home Depot would make purchasing from this site a much less risky proposition. As it is, I paid sales tax because there is a local Home Depot, but I can't return the product there."

"I'm very happy with this rug. It is thick and lush looking. Bought it for my entry hall and it looks beautiful. The only thing is that I can't have it in the middle of the hall since it is so thick the door won't open over it. Luckily I have enough room to move it back from the door. Otherwise it is great. The colors are very bright and looks very much the same as on line."

"This rug is a good quality with little shedding when vacuumed. My only complaint is that the red is a little more orange than the photo appears. But I am still keeping the rug."

"I bought the small size rug for my bathroom vanity. Colors are as pictured online. A little more subdued, but very nice. The whitish areas are more off white. Looks very red. The other colors get a little lost as opposed to the picture online. There are four large purplish/taupe flowers on all four corners that are hard to see online and I am not fond of them, however, I like the overall effect of the rug in the bathroom. It is tricky to buy a product like this online. The pile is thick and it is made well. Nice cushioned feel on the feet. I am pleased with this purchase."

"I bought this rug for an entryway at the front door. I looked for a long time for the right size, color, and style--this rug is ideal for our use. Our home decor is ecclectic, and the rug's pattern works with our mix of traditional, rustic, and contemporary furnishings. It arrived quickly--I ordered it late Saturday night and it arrived Monday. It appears to be good quality. I paid more than I intended for an entry rug--I've seen similar rugs for less money, but I am very happy with the purchase."

"I ordered these rugs at midnight on Monday and they were delivered on Wednesday afternoon. That has to be some kind of a record--and, I live in a small town.

"This is a beautiful, well-made rug. It does not "shed" like cheaper rugs. Also, the color is not bright red, as the picture suggests, but it's closer to a rich brick color, which makes it more versatile."

Finally found, a rug with primary colors.

"Love this rug, it is so cheerful, and it really ads some elegance to our cabin, that is an eclectic mix of americana. It looks well made and feels good under foot. I believe it is a good quality and value. The colors are really what got me. I searched a lot, but kept coming back to this vivacious, true colored piece. I am glad that I finally ordered it. I went to see it in person, in the Lake Zurich store, went to the cabin, and then ordered it."

"We have purchased three Regency rugs in different sizes.
A large round one for the entrance to our Spanish home
in California. The colors are just what was needed there
to enhance the saltillo tiles. The other two are for a
Master bedroom suite and are perfect. It's full of beautiful
color and the red is vibrant. Enjoy these so much, first
liked the photo after searching forever. Then purchased a small rectangular to make sure before buying the larger one. Kept both of them we liked it so well.
We now own three and will probably buy another."

"The colors are not as bright as they appear in the picture on the site. They are more muted. The muted red together with the very ethnic design (appears like a brick red in the day time and blue red int he evening) give this rug a very upscale and sophisticated look. I am very happy with it and only wish I could have also purchased the 2x3 door rug that is no longer available. Look at the picture of the hall runner sent in by another shopper (see reviews) to get a better feel for the hues of the colors in the rug."

"This is one of the most beautiful rugs I've ever bought - the colors are stunning, vivid, and the quality is amazing - it's nice and thick but not too thick - goes beautifully in my kitchen with white cabinets and dark hardwood floors! It's rare to find a red rug and it's red - not burgundy - not orange/rust - just perfect!!"

"As mentioned in other reviews, the color is not quite as vibrant as pictured online (but that is fine) ...and the background is definitely a rust, not a red. I bought the 8' runner, and the design translates very well into that proportion. it is very beautiful and thick and plush. So thick and plush my cat has taken to clawing at it (beware cat owners!) and I've never seen her claw any rug. Oh dear."

"I am happy with the rug, as others have noted the colors are a bit more muted in real life which I was okay with. Although it is a thick and comfortable rug I do notice that some places seem to be thinner than others (not noticeable to the eye, only when you walk on it). Also I was expecting it to look more like an oriental wool rug as far as the fibers go, instead it looks like a wall to wall carpet with longer pile. I hope that makes sense, I don't know how else to describe it. With all that said, I still think its a great buy for the price and I am happy with how it looks in our living room."
