"I purchased two of these bookcases based solely on seeing the floor model in the store. I passed up paying the extra money to have the store put the bookcases together. MISTAKE! It took me over 15 hours on the first one; the second one has a critical mistake in a shelf (holes not drilled in the right spot) that throws the whole thing off. I am going to take this one back to the store (in pieces)and have them fix it and then probably have to pay someone to haul it from the store to my home. Unless you are really handy, I would NOT recommend trying to put these together. By the time you pay for the assembly and delivery, the price is too high for what you got."

"I purchased this product for my wife's Home Office since she needed somwhere to display her Mary Kay products. She loves the overall look and functionality of the product! Assembly was easy..all pieces were clearly marked..nothing missing...everything matched with pre-drilled holes. The wood, although prefabricated, was sturdy and had a good finish. The hardware was a dissappointment. For the price...I expected better hardware...appears cheap...shelves come with plastic holders instear of metal and vinyl coated. Overall....I give it an 8 out of 10 for the price."

"This item had to grow on me. Here's why:
1. I ordered antique white. You would think that the color would be white, but it turns out to be more yellow. 2. It was the hardest thing to build. The holes for the screws didn't like up and I had to drill my own. 3. The type of material is very flimsy. After building it, I don't feel I'll be able to move it often. What makes it able to stand up somewhat strong is the backboard.
However, it's good point is that it is pretty. I like the country look it has and it will due for just storing dvds. It does feel antique-like in some way. I don't know if I'd recommend it or not, just be aware that it'll take effort on this one."
