"The design is great, love the picture layout and hanging options. However, the workmanship and more specifically the spot welds on the metal frame should have been limited to the back side where they would have been out of sight. They are also in places where they don't seem to be functional. The finish leaves much to be desired since attempts to grind the welds flat before poorly painting the metal black did not improve things. I will keep it until I find a suitable replacement."

"I loved this item when I first saw it. I read the reviews and put off ordering it. I eventually did order hoping that the actual item was not as bad as the reviews. While I like the image on my wall, the workmanship is vey poor. There are bumps where the piece of metal are joined. This could be filed down to make a smoother appearance. I would recommend it to a friend, but with lots of cautions!"

"We have purchased many items from Home Decorators and been satisfied. Where the metal pieces are welded together, it is bumpy and rough. The finish is uneven in spots. We decided that rather than go through the time and expense of returning, we would use it in the basement instead of the den (it's not worthy)."
