"I bought this as a look at chair for use in a room i seldom go in. I get so many compliments on it- it is beautiful! # days ago I brought the chair into another room and it was used a total of 4 times when the foam smashed flat and then the bottom broke and fell out! We are small people so that has nothing to do with it. the bottom of the chair (the part directly beneath the foam) is made of 1/4 pressed board like cardboard and the foam is a very bad quality. So if you are just looking to put it in a room as a decorative piece then it would be perfect. If you will be using this chair i recommend not spending this kind of money on it."

"wood at the base of the piece is poorly placed and low quality, making it extremely difficult to screw the legs in - the wood actually cracked on one corner and while our piece still holds, it is a bit wobbly. we placed in on carpet so it's not too noticeable. however, we love the look of it."

"The Chaise Lounge looked great in the catalog and I was anticipating the delivery. When the box arrived I knew right away there was an issue. Upon opening the box I realized this piece was not going to be what I was looking for. The dimensions in the catalog measured out to be what I was looking for, but the actual size of the "chaise" was much too small. I don't know what I'm going to do with it, it looks so small and doesn't fit in my home."

"The chaise was a lot smaller and shorter than I expected and it was a brighter gold it did not work for me. I sent it back as I was instructed through UPS and had to pay 155.00 to send it back. If you are worried that you won't like it don't buy."

"This is quite a lovely piece of furniture. Only assembly was the legs, which came free of any marks or blemishes. The customer rep I spoke with on the phone was kind enough to send out two samples of the material in advance so I could determine which color would fit best. Needless to say the color is perfect and it is a perfect edition to the room."

"The assembly went well. However, you may need shims to adjust the length of the legs so it won't wobble on the floor. I had to unscrew one leg three full turns so all four legs contacted the floor. Nice overall piece and my wife loves it!"

"THis item is tough to put together, and one set of holes did not match evenly. The product isn't quite as sturdy as I had expected, so no jumping on the furniture! It is also smaller than I had imagined- but that is also my fault- I didn't measure before I chose which size. TO its credit- it is a beautiful addition to the room I have it in, and it is also a comfortable piece of furniture. Overall, it is what I wanted, and I enjoy it, daily."

"Sits lower than appears - very low to ground. The seat pad sticks out at back rest (in my case the left back) and is squared - it looks like it doesn't fit together correctly, but by studying picture close you can see it. Even from measuring it all out first, the item appears almost miniature - thought it would be more of a commanding appearance - maybe mostly since it is so low to ground."

"This chaise is very nice and we are quite pleased with it. It is comfortable and looks great in the room. We got the cream with no skirt and it looks sharp.

Our only complaint was with the assembly. We feel the instructions were out of order - the back and side should be started first, then attach them to the base. Not the other way around as the instructions indicate."
