Just what I wanted!

"These lamps are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. I know other reviewers commented on the quality of the lampshade - it may not be the best, but I think altogether it gives the look of lamps 2x the price. My husband enjoys them as well. I was certainly thankful to have him install it, as I think I would have had difficulty doing it alone. The fact that the cord covers were included is a major plus."

"This is a fairly nice lamp. However, be wary of the bronze color. It is not a rich dark bronze, but a dark reddish mahogany that shows up very red when the lamp is lit. Also, the shade frame, harp, and finial are shiny brass and do not match the lamp color. I would not have bought them if I had looked at them in a store. However, it is not worth the trouble to return and exchange. So I will keep. Overall, they do look nice as bedside lamps."

"The lamps had to be installed in drywall and the anchors provided were unusable, in that they simply drove all the way back into the drywall and would not hold screws, so I had to buy my own elsewhere. One of the harps was manufactured crookedly so that the shade tilts no matter what I do, so that will have to be replaced. The shades are very cheap looking, having been made out of some sort of cardboard, so they will have to be replaced. I do like the look of the lamps other than the shades."

"Can't beat the price on this one! The closest I could get to the price was $170. It is a little less study than I would like for my boys' room, but for the price - I'm willing to risk it. It comes with a cord cover, so don't bother to order them from HD."
