"The lamp was packaged very nicely. However, when taken out of the box, the finish on the lamp was chipped in many places. We liked the lamp and thought we could touch it up. So, we assembled the lamp and when done, the lamp stood on a slant and there was no way of getting the lamp to stand straight. Shipped it back. Someone else may have better luck."

"the height of the table portion is much to high to sit next to a couch or love seat. very impractical dimensions. returned the item"
