"This lamp is very nice. It's true, the shade is not really glass, more like a very thick, sturdy plastic, but doesn't take away from the look at all. For the price, it's exactly what I expected."

"I was disappointed that the "art glass" in the description of the lamp shade turned out to be plastic. From a distance the lamp looks very nice. Up close the shade looks like plastic."

"Loved this lamp so much that I order a second one !!! I am sure that is really glass with plastic sheet on top. Great. With one light on it provides room lighting, and with two it is a perfect for reading.
Only problem with ordering the second lamp was that the color of the insets was off. Sheesh. But I used glass paint from a craft store on the inside, and it looks great.
Love these lamps. I recommend them totally."

An Excellent Addition to the Living Room

"I was extremely impressed not only with the service, but how the product was packed and delivered. The floor lamp was readily assembled in little to no time at all, and is an excellent addition to my living room. My only disappointment was the Floor Lamp's Shade, as eloquent as it might appear, it is made of plastic composites, I was under the impression, or maybe I presumed it would be made of glass.....For the price of the lamp, I guess I was expecting a glass shade......Now mind you from a distance, one has little idea of its plastic nature, its only upon close inspection or touch that you would notice."
