"I had been searching for a metal bird themed lamp for quite awhile, and looked at several. I purchased 2 of these for my living room. They are very attractive. the shade has a silk sheen that is even prettier than the picture. My only "tiny" critisizm...the shade is collapsable, it's acutally quite ingenious the way it's done. But once I maneuvered them into shape, the tautness of the silk and the placement of the black band were inconsistant, where had it been made pre-permanently fixed to the wire framing the final appearance of the shade would have been better. But overall, They're great"
