"These shelves look fantastic and are a great bargain. They easily compare with more expensive ready-made shelving. Assembly is somewhat arduous but straightforward; just be ready to put in the time and the elbow grease. The finished product is well worth it. I love the way they look and the sturdiness."

"My wife was really excited to have me put this together. The assembly for the most part was okay. The area that is really lacking is that the doors to not fit properly and there is no way to adjust them. One of the door rubs the top of opening and the other door has a gap at the top. I was disappointed that pieces just didn't fit as well as they could have."

"I discovered that there was a defective center leg along with the pre-drilled and set receiving plate at the very end of the assembly. I did not want to take it all apart and replaced into two giant boxes to return because that was just too much trouble. Instead, I am going to see if the construction will hold up without that center leg OR try a repair once I can get another person her to help me man-handle it."

It's great for a kids playroom

"We bought this piece for our kids play room and in the book the dark cherry looks darker than it accually is. We ended up painting it the color that we wanted. Also, when we moved the furniture to desired location the middle leg peg came out. And it looks to me that it is press board not solid wood. If I'm wrong about that, I'm sorry, but that's just what I see."
